[Class 120 (ii)] The bottom delivery rollers of machines for spinning core yarns, particularly yarns with cut staple fibre rayon or other covering fibre, is grooved at a for the passage of the core yarn x which is fed by auxiliary rollers D and a guide roller d, two pairs of rollers preferably being used, the core forming a loop as shown. The invention is applicable to mules or ring spinning-frames. The core yarn may be of ordinary suitable fibre such as cotton or flax, or may be elastic or of wire.
