Abstract

484,191. Forming staple fibre products from continuous filaments. DREYFUS, H., and POOL, W. July 31, 1936, No. 21211. [Class 120 (iii)] A staple fibre product is manufactured by the process described in Specification 484,190, and is then drafted to a finer product either directly as it comes from the rubbing bands or after first being made into a suitable package. It may for example be wound on a bobbin by a flyer device, being thereafter wound off the bobbin 32 between drafting rollers 35, 36, and through a ring spinning device 37 to a cop 39. Specification 410,805 also is referred to.
