501,598. Drawing fibres. HAIN, M. Sept. 1, 1937, No. 23889. Convention date, Sept. 1, 1936. [Classes 120 (i) and 120 (ii)] In drawing long fibre material such as jute, hemp and flax the sliver is led in a helical path between the retaining and the drawing rollers by means of a grooved member 6, adjustably mounted on a bracket 10, and a conductor 15 is arranged close to the nip of the drawing-rollers or the member 6 may be shaped at its end to constitute such a conductor. Specification 418,340 is referred to.
