Description
市販の紙の基材(「Hello Silk」200g/m2、Sappi Stockstadt GmbH、Germany)を、ダブルコーター(double coater)および上流の印刷ユニットを備えるHeidelberger Speedmaster CD DUO LY6LLYY型の従来の印刷機によって以下のようにコーティングした:
まず、基材に、上流の印刷ユニットで表面全体に有色の固着層を設ける(SUN Chemical製のHi−Bryte(登録商標)Pro印刷用インクのPantone(登録商標)Grau425C)。続いて、プレコートされた基材は、第1のコーターで表面全体にコーティングする[DuPont製の従来のCL4印刷版、顔料[Iriodin(登録商標)103(粒子径10〜60μm)およびIriodin(登録商標)123(粒子径5〜25μm)、1:1の混合物、製造業者Merck KGaA]の含有率が20重量%の印刷用ワニスVegra VP1038/50、印刷粘度50秒(Erichsen製のDIN4フローカップ)、Praxair製のアニロックスローラ(20g/cm3、80L/cm2、彫版:ART(登録商標))]。ここで結果として得られた濡れた層の厚さは約10μmである。まだ固化していないワニス面をさらに第2のコーターでコーティング版と接触させる。このコーティング版(CL4、厚さ1.14mm、製造業者DuPont、取扱説明書にしたがって露光、拡大した鏡像の詳細を図1に示す)は印刷用インクでコーティングしない。それには、様々なサイズの文字、絵文字および線などの線モチーフが設けられている。第1のコーティング層への印刷凸部の侵入度は最大で10μmである。結果として得られた印刷層は従来のUV乾燥機で固化させる。得られた印刷画像は、銀白色に光る背景に、第2のコーターで用いた印刷版上に配置された線モチーフの形態で容易に視認できる三次元パターンを有する。固化したコーティングの詳細を図2に示す。三次元パターンは指で触れても感じることはできない。
常法によって感光させたフレキソ印刷版の代わりに、DE.........にしたがう特定の露光方法(ソケット(100秒)および凸部(250秒)を裏面露光、拡大した詳細を図3に示す)によって露光されたコーティング版(DuPont製のCL4、例1を参照)を第2のコーターに用いるという変更を行い、例1を繰り返す。コーティングで得られた三次元パターンを図4および図5に示す。三次元パターンは、銀白色に光るコーティングにおいて柔らかで丸みのある外観で明らかに認識できるが触知することができない。
Claims (14)
- コーティングに三次元パターンを作成する方法であって、
流動性コーティング組成物を基材に付けて第1の層を形成し、型の突起要素が前記第1の層に凹部を作製するように、未固化状態の前記第1の層を、前記突起要素のある表面を有する前記型と接触させ、前記型を取り除き、任意選択で凹部を含む前記第1の層を第2のコーティング組成物でコーティングして第2の層を形成し、ここで前記第1の層を形成するコーティング組成物がフレーク状効果顔料を含み、前記型が凸版印刷法用の印刷版すなわち活版印刷版、レターセット印刷版またはフレキソ印刷版であり、前記第1の層の前記凹部の深さが10μm以下であり、前記層(複数可)が固化される、方法。 - 第1の層および第2の層が付けられ、前記第2の層が付けられる前に、凹部を含む前記第1の層が固化されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第1の層および第2の層が付けられ、凹部を含む前記第1の層および前記第2の層が同時固化されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記型がフレキソ印刷版であることを特徴とする、請求項1から3の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記第1の層および/または前記第2の層が印刷法によって付けられることを特徴とする、請求項1から4の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記印刷法が、グラビア印刷法、スクリーン印刷法、ペーパーコーティング法、フレキソ印刷法、パッド印刷法、オフセット印刷法、オフセットオーバープリントワニス塗装法またはブロンズ光沢法であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の層および/または第2の層がフレキソ印刷法またはオフセットオーバープリントワニス塗装法によって付けられることを特徴とする、請求項1から6の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記第1の層および/または前記第2の層を紫外線照射によって固化させることを特徴とする、請求項1から7の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記フレーク状効果顔料が、真珠光沢顔料、干渉顔料、メタル効果顔料、液晶顔料、フレーク状機能性顔料、フレーク状構造化顔料、またはそれらの混合物の群から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から8の何れかに記載の方法。
- 三次元パターンを有し、第1の層および任意選択でその上に配置された第2の層からなり、いずれの場合も固化されたもしくは固体である、基材上のコーティングであって、前記第1の層がフレーク状効果顔料を含み、前記第1の層が上側に深さ10μm以下の凹部を有し、前記コーティングが請求項1から9の何れかに記載の方法によって得ることができる、コーティング。
- 固化された前記第1の層に存在する前記凹部はヒトが触れても知覚できないことを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のコーティング。
- 前記基材が、紙、厚紙、壁紙、積層板、ティッシュ材料、木材、ポリマー、特にポリマーフィルム、金属、特に金属箔、セキュリティ印刷物、またはこれらの物質の複数である構成成分を含む材料であり、前記基材が任意選択で、静電気的に前処理され、かつ/または下塗層および/もしくは別の固着層を備えた、請求項10または11に記載のコーティング。
- 紙、厚紙、壁紙、積層板、ティッシュ材料、木材、金属、特に金属箔、ポリマー、特にポリマーフィルム、セキュリティ印刷物、またはこれらの物質の複数を含む構成成分を含む材料から構成され、任意選択で、静電気的に前処理され、かつ/または下塗層および/または別の固着層を備えた基材上のコーティングに、請求項1から9の何れかに記載の方法により作成された三次元パターンを備える表面を有する製品。
- 装飾材料またはセキュリティ製品としての請求項13に記載の製品の使用。
