Paul Diamond is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He joined the court in 2004 after being nominated by President George W. Bush.[1]

Education

Diamond graduated from Columbia University with his bachelor's degree in 1974 and later from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law with his J.D. degree in 1977.[1]

Judicial career

Eastern District of Pennsylvania

On the recommendation of U.S. Senators Rick Santorum and Arlen Specter, Diamond was nominated to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania by President George W. Bush on January 20, 2004, to a seat vacated by Judge Herbert Hutton. Diamond was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on June 16, 2004, and received commission on June 22, 2004.[2][3]
