Birthday Shirt!

Image
I wanted to surprise our son with a new shirt for his birthday 🎉 I order the cotton fabric with logo in Poland for the 50th anniversary for our company. I have made an  Origami Shirt  for our youngest son earlier. This is the pattern for the origami pocket that I made. The pocket is stitched to the left front panel. The collar and the collar stand are stitched together. The collar is stitched around the neck. I made short sleeves for the shirt. This is a tip for sewing the buttons, so it's not too tight. Our son is happy with his birthday present 😉 Stoff og Stil pattern.

Surfing T-Shirt & Jersey Pants!

Image
I found this great surfing jersey to make a T-shirfor our son! This is an easy T-shirt, but the fabric is the Wow-factor! The pants are also made of jersey, from  Meretes Atelier The pants are cut with both front-pockets and back-pockets. The front pockets are sewn straight to the front parts. The back-pockets are sewn on top of the back parts. On the Catwalk: Øystein are wearing the T-shirt together with a refashion shorts  made of a jacket and a pajamas from The Norwegian Sewing Bee ,  and the jacket he is carrying is also from the TV-show.

I love flowerful fabric and asked my son if he would like to have a summer shirt  of this fabric from  rainbowfashion.no  and of course he said Yes! All the pieces are cut and ready to be sewn.  The front parts is sewn with button stand and the back part with darts. The collar pieces are sewn together and stitched around.  I have made an outside pocket on the left side. Helge on the Catwalk! Buttonholes and buttons are in place. I have made a little slits at the hem sides. BurdaStyle pattern #143 06/2016 The pants are based on a pattern from Ottobre design.
