Jumpsuit with Flowers!

Image
I wanted to make a jumpsuit of this flowerful jersey and found a pattern from BurdaStyle  that I have tried earlier when I make an  animal print jumpsuit . This is very comfy to wear on holiday, and when you're walking in the nature 😊 The jumpsuit has side pockets and a belt with elastic at the waist. The gathering at the front part has a piece of elastic as well. The fabric is from  Krestoffer.dk I have made two buttonholes for the belt at the front part. This is the back part and I have used vliseline for the facing. I'm very happy how it turned out! BurdaStyle pattern #119 0372010

Summer Jumpsuit! 🌸

I was wearing my new jumpsuit for the first time when I was together with my friends in town. We hadn't seen each other for a long time because of the Corona-virus, so it was nice to catch up again! The jumpsuit pattern is from BurdaStyle June issue  and I knew I had to make it when I saw it in the magazine! I have used linen fabric that I found in my stash.  Since the instruction was with pictures it was very easy to follow. I'm very happy with the outcome and maybe I have to make another one😊              Can you imagine that these pics where taken 11.30 in the night! It's so light this time of year that we nearly don't need to sleep :)                          BurdaStyle #101 06/2020 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

Refashion Romper :)

Image
I know this is Crazy, and that's why I love it! 💛 It's always FUN putting garments together in a new way! 😉 Yellow and grey looks nice together.  I started with the upper part of the jacket and use the neck line from the knitted top. The important thing with a romper is that you need an easy way to take it on and off! Therefore I cut the neckline open, then it will be functional.. The black sleeves and waistline are from the same wool top. I have used the short sleeves of the grey T-shirt on top of the wool sleeves and the yellow cuffs. I hemmed the short pants with wool ribbon.  This was the part left after I made this easy  Dress . I change the yellow buttons with black buttons and I think this looks great!

Refashion Jumper!

Sometimes you feel that your idea is a bit "Crazy", but anyway  it makes you Happy to go for it!😅 This Jumper is such an item! Since I had the upper part of the wool pants left after I made the  Wool Dress   I had to make a new plan... I chose to use the upper part of the long orange jacket and the striped sleeves of the sweater. The waist band is from a wool top, but the collar is made of the bottom of the white sweater. Since the jacket didn't have any buttons I made three buttonholes, and I like the black buttons with "diamonds"! It was a great jumper for Sara and I think it suits her very well,  and it's perfect for wintertime! ⛄

Jersey is a great fabric, both to wear and sewing with. I have used a pattern from Burda Easy Fashion F/S 2017. The jumpsuit has pockets in the side seams and rubber-band at the waist and neck. I think Sara looks pretty in her new outfit :)                                                               Pattern #4C FS/2017
