System airline as one of business to customer (B2C) is an enterprise application
which needs service system architecture. Many systems that have been connected to
this system has complexity of integration. SOA using enterprise service bus (ESB) is
one way to manage the integration of information systems. ESB is a software
infrastructure that can solve complexity problems with n-to-n integration, where n is
the number of integrated applications. The business case has been implemented each
function of services and ESB. The results obtained show that each services and ESB
has its own strengths and weakness. As regards strengths, it should be noted that ESB
copes very well with both kinds of files and small and large size but put the effort if the
application of ESB is not working well it can be affected to another application
system. N-to-n integration performs as good enough with small files and size but need
to manage if there were any add or updated with the service. This research
implemented SOA using ESB to proves to be a good choice for integration solution in
a business environment with a large number of users and diversified communications.

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is an architectural style that is widely used in distributed and dynamic systems. The Service oriented architecture Modeling Language (SoaML) is an OMG standard for modelling SOA independent of a technology. This paper presents a tool for modelling SOA using SoaML and generating OSGi Declarative Services Models from SoaML models. SoaML metamodel has been implemented as an Ecore model using the Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF). An Eclipse plug-in that allows architects to graphically design SoaML models has been developed using the Graphical Modeling Framework (GMF). We have also implemented a model transformation using ATLAS Transformation Language (ATL) in order to partially generate Declarative Services models. The generated model is used as a Declarative Services Component Description XML specification which is needed to execute code on the OSGi service oriented platform. In this way, we provide SoaML with Model Driven Architecture support.

Here we consider technological components for realizing business processes and discuss their foundation architecture for technological enabling. The article provides an introduction to the terms, techniques and realization issues for eventdriven and service-oriented architectures. We begin with a definition of terms and propose a reference architecture for an event-driven service-oriented architecture (EDSOA). Possible applications in the area of E-Business and solution guidelines are considered in the second part of the article. As evidence, project data is provided from a Fortune 500 company which has gradually adopted SOSD over the last two years.

The purpose of this study is to design information technology architectures to
automate enterprise business processes. The company's IT architecture needs to be
improved to support the vision and mission in accordance with the needs of the ongoing
business process. Therefore, it is very important for companies to create IT blueprints
to facilitate the development of information systems in the future. The IT architecture in
this study was designed using TOGAF ADM, with SOA and ERP as a solution to existing

Enterprise IT infrastructure incurs many costs ranging from hardware costs and software licenses/maintenance costs to the costs of monitoring, managing, and maintaining IT infrastructure. The recent advent of cloud computing offers some tangible prospects of reducing some of those costs; however, abstractions provided by cloud computing are often inadequate to provide major cost savings across the IT infrastructure life-cycle.

Due to great advantages that Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) offers to its adopters in almost all fields, many studies tried to leverage it in grid computing. These studies focused on enabling easy access and flexible management to underlying grid resources. However, none of them allowed access to grid resources through various technologies. Rather, most of them utilized SOA in terms of XML web services without considering its limitations. In this paper, we will introduce a high level architecture that goes beyond traditional efforts in leveraging SOA in grid computing. This architecture uses Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) model by leveraging Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) to offer a number of endpoints for published services. With these endpoints different requirements from both grid clients and executors could be easily and efficiently met. Proposed architecture does not tend to supersede other SOA-based grid computing frameworks and standards. Instead, it offers a new method for wrapping grid computing resources with a set of configurable WCF services that could be utilized by these frameworks.

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a design paradigm that enables applications to be built from business processes to support enterprise architecture. This architecture introduces information security challenges that are not comprehensively addressed by current best-practices. This paper evaluates if an Information Security Management System (ISMS), defined by the international standard ISO/IEC 27001 and 27002 can be used to comprehensively support Information Security governance for SOA. As SOA governance, a separate and distinct governance framework, also addresses information security to a certain extent, managers are faced the difficult task of deciding whether their SOA sufficiently protected by the different frameworks. The conclusion is that information security for SOA needs to be addressed more holistically, following an Enterprise Information Security Architecture (EISA) approach where Enterprise Architecture (EA) is concerned with the design of the overall architectural vision of an organization. The framework chosen for this purpose is SABSA, a well-known enterprise security architecture. Using the example of access control to highlight challenges, it becomes clear that Information Security governance for SOA can benefit from an approach such as SABSA.

Organic aerosols (OA) play an important role in climate change. However, very few calculations of global OA radiative forcing include secondary organic aerosol (SOA) or the light-absorbing part of OA (brown carbon). Here we use a global model to assess the radiative forcing associated with the change in primary organic aerosol (POA) and SOA between present-day and preindustrial conditions in both the atmosphere and the land snow/sea ice. Anthropogenic emissions are shown to substantially influence the SOA formation rate, causing it to increase by 29 Tg/yr (93%) since preindustrial times. We examine the effects of varying the refractive indices, size distributions for POA and SOA, and brown carbon fraction in SOA. The increase of SOA exerts a direct forcing ranging from À0.12 to À0.31 W m À2 and a first indirect forcing in warm-phase clouds ranging from À0.22 to À0.29 W m À2 , with the range due to different assumed SOA size distributions and refractive indices. The increase of POA since preindustrial times causes a direct forcing varying from À0.06 to À0.11 W m À2 , when strongly and weakly absorbing refractive indices for brown carbon are used. The change in the total OA exerts a direct forcing ranging from À0.14 to À0.40 W m À2 . The atmospheric absorption from brown carbon ranges from +0.22 to +0.57 W m À2 , which corresponds to 27%~70% of the black carbon (BC) absorption predicted in the model. The radiative forcing of OA deposited in land snow and sea ice ranges from +0.0011 to +0.0031 W m À2 or as large as 24% of the forcing caused by BC in snow and ice simulated by the model.

The paradigm of service-oriented computing (SOC) has emerged as an approach to provide flexibility and agility, not just in systems development but also in business process management. This modular approach to defining business flows as technology independent services has gained unanimous popularity among end-users and technology vendors alike. Although there is a significant amount of ongoing research on the potential of service oriented architectures (SOAs), there is a paucity of research literature on the factors affecting the adoption of service-oriented computing in practice. This paper reviews the current state of the technology, identifies the factors influencing the decision to adopt service-oriented computing as an enterprise strategy and discusses the associated research literature, and concludes with a suggested research agenda and conceptual framework for investigating the use of service-oriented computing in practice.

The aim of this paper is to evaluate different approaches for the integration of an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) with a Business Process Management System (BPMS). The integration approaches include a point to point and a broker-based architecture that was evaluated on a sales business process implemented in the ERP system SAP R/3 ® and the BPMS BizAgi Enterprise ®. The results show that the integration driven by a broker provides better performance, requires less effort and increases flexibility. Resumen El objetivo de este artículo es evaluar diferentes enfoques para la integración de un sistema ERP (enterprise resource planning) con un sistema de administración de procesos de negocio (BPMS, por sus siglas en inglés). Los enfoques de integración incluidos son arquitectura punto a punto y una arquitectura basada en adaptador, los cuales fueron evaluados en un proceso de ventas implementado en el sistema ERP SAP R/3 ® y en el BPMS BizAgi Enterprise ®. Los resultados mostraron que la integración basada en BPMN y el bróker reduce el tiempo e incrementa la flexibilidad.

El presente proyecto de tesis, tiene por objeto el análisis del marco tecnológico relacionado con la integración de sistemas informáticos legados, además de esto, se revisaran algunas técnicas para la exposición de servicios, esto con objetivo de establecer una arquitectura orientada a servicios que puede ser implementada en el Programa para el Manejo del Agua y Suelo (PROMAS), y que pueda permitir la integración a la misma de varios sistemas informáticos que han sido creados y que se encuentran todavía en funcionamiento.

El presente trabajo propone una innovación curricular en cuanto al dictado de un Taller de Desarrollo de Proyectos, enfocado desde la perspectiva del Modelo por Competencias. Por tratarse el Taller de una asignatura de carácter integrador respecto de las asignaturas previas, se hace necesario definir Competencias que resulten también integradoras. Abstrak Persediaan (Inventory) adalah sistem manajemen dalam menentukan keseimbangan antara investasi penyimpanan persediaan dengan pelayanan pelanggan. Sistem persediaan adalah salah satu bagian dari ERP (enterprise resource planning). Manajemen persediaan yang baik sangatlah penting untuk menekan biaya pengeluaran suatu perusahaan. Di satu sisi, sebuah perusahaan dapat mengurangi biaya dengan mengurangi persediaan. Di sisi lain, produksi dapat berhenti dan pelanggan menjadi tidak puas, ketika sebuah barang tidak tersedia. Solusi informatika perangkat lunak inventory adalah salah satu cara efisiensi perusahaan dalam aktifitas proses bisnis transaksi gudang. Namun pada pelaksanaan implementasi perangkat lunak, beberapa perusahaan dihadapkan masalah dalam ketersediaan infrastruktur perangkat keras yang diperlukan untuk mendukung perangkat lunak. Permasalahan ini mendorong munculnya sebuah pendekatan baru dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak, yang disebut dengan Software as a Service (Perangkat Lunak sebagai Layanan). Suatu konsep dimana terdapat satu aplikasi terpusat yang dikelola oleh suatu penyedia jasa perangkat lunak, yang dapat menangani beberapa data perusahaan yang berbeda. Dengan konsep ini, penyimpanan data dan tranksaksi pada aplikasi inventory dipisah pada schema yang berbeda. Agar dalam penggunaan aplikasi oleh lebih dari satu perusahaan ini tidak saling mempengaruhi. Aplikasi ini dibangun dengan menggunakan analisis dan desain SOAD. Dan berhasil diimplementasikan menggunakan teknologi Java serta web service sebagai komunikasi antar domain fungsi yang dilakukan dalam enterprise resource planning. Aplikasi dalam tugas akhir ini juga mengimplementasikan konsep Software as a Service (SaaS) dengan membagi hak otorisasi untuk schema yang berbeda. Aplikasi yang dibuat pada tugas akhir ini mampu mengakomodasi fitur Inventory yaitu pembelian material (purchasing) dan pengiriman barang (delivering). Dari data transaksi purchasing dan delivering, aplikasi ini dapat memperkirakan jumlah yang optimal suatu barang yang tersimpan di gudang(controlling stock). Sehingga tidak terjadi kelebihan stok maupun kekosongan stok.

Nowadays, Business-to-Business (B2B) has become one the most important forms for e-commerce implementations that allows organizations (both partners and competitors) to cooperate in terms of building virtual corporations to satisfy customer and market needs. Almost all B2B applications have special re-quirements regarding to ability to be changed dynamically and flexibly due to market ever-changing needs. Traditional methods for implementing and integrating B2B applications have faced many prob-lems that lead to failure in fulfilling these needs effec-tively. Service-oriented architecture (SOA) is an emerging architecture methodology that comes with set of concepts, standards, and technologies that make it the endeavor for fulfilling these needs. This paper introduces a B2B case study to show how SOA allows integration between different systems not by rebuilding them from scratch, rather, by leveraging current assets in a way to make them more dynamic, and easy to be changed according to business needs and market circumstances.

One of the significant reasons for the success of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is its harmonization with business process management (BPM). Architecture of Integrated Information System (ARIS) correlates SOA with BPM by its proposed work flow. Modeling process is one of the fundamental parts in SOA architecture. Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) is a graphical language which is known as one of the most efficient languages for modeling in ARIS. This language is transformable to Business Process Execution Language and causes the act of modeling to be performed on the basis of a comprehensive and integrated plan with its provided tools. Despite of all the advantages, the companies should apply necessary speed and precision in the cycle of transforming the models to executable processes to be competitive in the nowadays world; and due to the fact that the first step in generating an executive process in SOA is design and modeling, therefore it is so critical to assure of the correct functionality of models before implementation and test. ARIS provides the users with the facility to be certain about correct functionality of BPMN model by supporting ARIS simulator. However simulation is time-consuming while being used in change of business and process updating and it is not optimal. We presented a solution by introduce semantic checking in ARIS and showing how could upgrading the support of BPMN in ARIS to reduce the consumed time for test and simulation.

In order to enhance service discovery, services must be well described and be published in a registry. Services based applications are developed as a set of independent services with low-coupling and well-defined interfaces which are used by their consumers. Traditional methods, such as "object oriented" and "component based" ones, are not properly for service development, mainly in analysis and design aspects. Hence it is a challenge in SOA to propose a method for service analysis and design that fits enterprise needs. The goal of this work is to propose such methodology. In order to produce services aligned with business, the proposal has as input service candidates identified from business process models.

Software-defined networks (SDNs) have simplified management of complex data center and enterprise networks. We argue that SDNs can play a similar role in rural wireless networks, especially those in developing regions. Operating a rural network in the developing world means coping with unpredictability, low profit margins, and resource constraints; the increased flexibility and simplified management that software-defined networks provide are a major benefit in this context. Network virtualization, also enabled by SDN, could allow rural networks to operate as infrastructure providers to existing ISPs, thus enabling cooperation rather than competition with powerful incumbent providers.

We now see an increasing need and opportunity to create interfaces between the physical world of sensors and actuators and the software world of enterprise systems. Standardization efforts in e-learning are aimed at achieving interoperability among Learning Management Systems (LMSs) and Learning Object (LO) authoring tools. Some of the specifications produced have reached quite a good maturity level and have been adopted in software systems. Some others, such as SCORM Run-Time Environment (RTE), have not reached the same success, probably due to their intrinsic difficulty in being understood adequately and implemented properly. The SCORM RTE defines a set of functionalities which allow LOs to be launched in the LMS and to exchange data with it. Its adoption is crucial in the achievement of full interoperability among LMSs and LO authoring tools. In order to boost the adoption of SCORM RTE in LMSs, we propose a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)based reference model for offering the SCORM RTE functionalities as a service, external to the LMS. By externalizing functionalities from LMSs, our model encourages the independent development of e-learning system components, allowing elearning software producers to gain several benefits, such as better software re-use and easier integration and complexity management, with a consequent cost reduction.
