Description
本出願は、2017年6月30日に出願された米国仮出願第62/527,457号と、2017年7月5日に出願された米国仮出願第62/528,914号と、2017年7月5日に出願された米国仮出願第62/528,893号の優先権を主張するものであり、これらはその全体が参照によって本明細書に援用され、本開示の一部を成す。
大きすぎて自然には閉じられない、もしくはそうでなければ、創傷の部位への陰圧の適用では治癒しない、開放または慢性創傷の治療は、当該技術分野で周知である。現在当該技術分野で知られている陰圧創傷療法(NPWT)システムは、創傷の上に流体に対して不透過性または半透過性の被覆を置くことと、創傷を囲む患者の組織に対して被覆を封止する、様々な手段を使用することと、陰圧を被覆の真下に作り出し維持するような手法で、陰圧の源(真空ポンプなど)を被覆に接続することとを伴う。このような陰圧は、創傷部位における肉芽組織の形成を促進し、かつ人体の通常の炎症プロセスを補助しながら、同時に有害なサイトカインおよび/またはバクテリアを含む可能性がある過剰な流体を除去することにより、創傷の治癒を促進すると考えられている。しかしながら、治療の便益を完全に実現するには、NPWTのさらなる改良が必要とされる。

Claims (17)
- 創傷部位上に位置付けられるように構成された創傷被覆材(400、1200)であって、
創傷滲出液を吸収するための吸収層(421、1221)であって、前記吸収層が、吸収材の少なくとも第一の部分、および前記第一の部分から物理的に分離し、同一平面で前記第一の部分に隣接する前記吸収材の第二の部分を含む吸収層と、
前記吸収層上にあって、前記第一の部分上に位置付けられた少なくとも一つのオリフィスを含む裏当て層と、
前記少なくとも一つのオリフィス上に位置付けられて、前記創傷部位に前記創傷被覆材を通して陰圧を供給するように構成された流体コネクタと、を含む、創傷被覆材を含み、
前記吸収層の前記第二の部分が、規則的な繰り返しのグリッドパターンで配置された複数の部分を含む、創傷治療装置。 - 前記吸収材の前記第一の部分が、前記吸収材の前記第二の部分から空間によって分離される、請求項1に記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記吸収層が、吸収材のそれぞれの物理的に分離した部分を分離する1mm~10mmの間隙を含む、請求項2に記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記裏当て層が、前記空間内に少なくとも部分的に延在する、請求項2または3に記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記裏当て層が、前記吸収材の前記第一の部分と前記第二の部分との間の前記空間内に延在するように構成された折り目を含む、請求項4に記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記裏当て層が、前記吸収層上に形成された真空によって前記吸収材の前記第一の部分と前記第二の部分との間の前記空間を充填する、請求項5に記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記吸収層の下に第一の透過層をさらに含む、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記裏当て層が、前記吸収材の前記第一の部分と前記第二の部分との間の空間内の透過層に接触する、請求項7に記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記第一の部分が前記第二の部分よりも大きい、請求項1~8のいずれかに記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記第二の部分の前記複数の部分のそれぞれが、当該部分と互いに、および、前記第一の部分から、物理的に分離している、請求項1~9のいずれかに記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記吸収層が、長方形の形状を有する複数の物理的に分離した部分を含む、請求項1~10のいずれかに記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記吸収層が、全てが同一の形状およびサイズを有する複数の部分を含む、請求項1~8、10、11のいずれかに記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記吸収層が、異なる形状およびサイズを有する複数の部分を含む、請求項1~8、10、11のいずれかに記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記吸収層の下に創傷接触層をさらに含み、前記裏当て層に封止される、請求項1~13のいずれかに記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記創傷被覆材を通して創傷部位と流体連通するように構成された陰圧源をさらに含む、請求項1~14のいずれかに記載の創傷治療装置。
- 前記吸収層の上に第二の透過層をさらに含む、請求項1~15のいずれかに記載の創傷治療装置。
