[Class 75 (ii)] A lamp particularly for shop window lighting comprises an annular prism D with its innersurface so curved that light from a lamp bulb plane source A<4> lying in or just below the lower edge of the prism is directed parallelly to the outer edge D' and thence totally internally reflected vertically downwards, and a reflector B for light not intercepted by the prism. The prism is supported from the reflector support A<2> by hooks E<2> pivotally looping a split ring E and fasteners :E<1>, The reflector may be asymmetric to direct light backwards from a shop window adjacent the top of which one or more lamps are mounted.
