Abstract

283,061. Sachs Akt.-Ges., M. F. May 27. 1927, [Convention date]. Addition to 283,053. Rollers and roller heads; creel arrangements.- Slivers are doubled by means of the apparatus described in the parent Specification, wherein five lines of drawing - rollers are provided in a spinning - machine and are so geared that normal roving draft is imparted between the first (back) and third lines and the normal spinning draft between the' third and fifth (front) lines, thereby dispensing with the roving-frame. Bobbins c, d are arranged above each other or side by side in the creel of the spinning-machine, and the slivers therefrom are led to the first line of rollers a, b, the doubling and drawing being effected between this line and the third in the same manner as in a roving-frame.
