Abstract

1,268,560. Preserving potatoes. PLASCO AG. 22 Dec., 1969 [28 June, 1969], No. 62396/ 69. Heading A2D. Potatoes are preserved in a process wherein raw peeled potatoes are placed in packages of a foil material in such a manner that each potato is brought into direct contact with the inside of the packing material through at least a part of its surface area. The package is then vacuum sealed. The packaged potatoes may be cooked by immersion in heated water. The foil packaging material may be a thermoplastic organic polymer.
