David Owen Belew, Jr. (1920-2001) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Belew was nominated to the Northern District of Texas by President Jimmy Carter on February 9, 1979, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629; he was confirmed by the Senate on April 24, 1979, and received commission on April 26, 1979. Assumed senior status on May 7, 1990. He served the Northern District of Texas until his death on November 21, 2001.[1] Belew was succeeded in this position by Terry Means.
