It is generally accepted that user adoption and user engagement are key critical success factors for ERP business value realization. However, a majority of ERP implementations take a qualitative approach for managing user adoption and user engagement. A qualitative approach focuses on data that is subjective, interpretive and exploratory. Let's see how successful this passive approach has been in the past. According to a 2014 survey from Panorama Consulting Solutions of 192 businesses, 66 percent of respondents reported receiving 50 percent or less measurable benefits from their ERP implementation, and less than 40 percent were satisfied with the rate of user adoption. In the US, a recent study estimates that over half of all Accounting, ERP, and CRM implementations fail to meet their objectives. In Europe, the corresponding statistic is 70%-80 %! An oldie but goodie is what was learned from the 1999 Hershey's ERP failure (user adoption). A recurring theme from the ERP failures listed above is a lack of actively tracking and managing user adoption and user engagement. Traditional approaches of End User Testing (EUT), Just-In-Time (JIT) training and user surveys are insufficient for a reliable, effective user adoption and engagement process. In the following sections, we will discuss practical steps that you can take to better quantify user adoption and user engagement. User Adoption vs. User Engagement The first step to take in implementing a measured and repeatable approach is to understand the difference between user adoption and user engagement. User adoption is when users adopt a system that works to fill a specific need. User engagement measures how effectively a system is utilized. A user can adopt an ERP solution but yet the user is not making the most of the ERP functionality available. In my humble opinion, I believe that we in the ERP industry too often try to broadly address these specific areas with qualitative surveys which are translated into quantitative data with some level of bias. Don't get me wrong, using surveys and statistics as a tool to provide some high level of quantification of qualified user feedback. The problem occurs when user surveys are the ONLY method we use to manage user adoption and user engagement. Surveys were necessary in what I call the 1 st generation of ERP given that the technology and availability of user data was not a primary objective for ERP vendors. However, now that we are in the 2 nd generation of ERP, user data is more available for consumption. We in the ERP industry have to leverage this new capability in addition to conventional means. What data should we go after to highlight user adoption and user engagement? Consider the following illustration as a starting point.

Irish e-Government has long endured a myriad of issues associated with traditional
enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation, hampering their ability for fiscal
accountability, to control budgets and adhere to compliance regulations. Cloud ERP is
positioned as a revolutionary approach to deploy an ERP solution. The main benefits
associated with deploying a cloud ERP in comparison to traditional ERP deployment
include low implementation, continuing, licencing and support costs, faster implementation
of IT projects and increased agility. While the recent transition of Irish e-Government to
cloud computing is laden with opportunities and risks it is imperative to identify public
sector mission critical applications that would derive substantial benefits from moving to a
cloud based solution. In this paper, we explore the ERP innovation potential of cloud
computing for Irish e-Government as a viable mechanism for replacing the traditional
implementation process of enterprise resource planning.

Cloud ERP systems are continuously replacing the implementation of traditional ERP systems within the enterprise industry, as a result of the cloud-based ERP system’s ability to exploit the internet’s continuity. The increased reliability of cloud infrastructures have made it economically feasible to deliver ERP systems over the internet, at less risk than that involved with traditional ERP implementation, allowing for the transfer of maintenance and support to the vendor. A cloud-based ERP system also enables small and medium-sized budget organizations to access incredibly robust technology at an affordable cost, and at a low cost of ownership, with quick deployment and a fast return of investment. However, the factors that are significant to influencing the adoption of SMEs are still unclear. As a result, this research paper discusses various potential factors from different researchers that can influence the adoption of a cloud-based ERP system among SMEs enterprises.

Organizations recognize the need to adopt Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in order to become more competitive, efficient, and productive, although the adoption and implementation of an ERP system is a costly and risky endeavor. Recently, cloud computing has become a viable and competitive means by which most organizations, especially Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), can implement an ERP system in a short time frame and cost-effective way. Our research examines the feasibility of cloud-based ERP systems for SMEs through a case study. The case emphasizes the potential of cloud-based ERP systems for SMEs as well as some of the challenges and peculiarities involved in their efforts to obtain an affordable and versatile ERP system. Our findings can potentially guide SMEs to make well-informed decisions throughout their cloud-based ERP adoption process.

Cloud computing is Internet-based computing that provides shared computer processing resources and data to computers and other devices on demand. Cloud computing is the hottest purpose built architecture created to support computer users. The cloud addresses three main areas of operation SaaS (software-as-a-service),PaaS (platform-as-a-service) and IaaS (infrastructure as a service). The large amount of data can be stored into cloud Data centers with low cost. We Integrate Data Mining and Cloud Computing to provide a quick access to this large volume amount of data on cloud. This paper aimed to study Clustering algorithm which can be applicable in cloud computing. This paper also describes the role of soft clustering in Cloud computing environment.

This work aims to present an incorporated resource, asset reservation, and workload adjusting calculation for effective cloud provisioning. The strategy develops a Priority-based Resource Scheduling Model to acquire the resource, asset reservation with threshold-based load balancing for improving the proficiency in cloud framework. Bu değişimi okuyabilen, anlayabilen ve kontrol edip yönetebilen işletmelerin yeni teknolojinin sunmuş olduğu avantajlardan istifade edip, tüm paydaşlarını memnun ederek gelir ve karlarını artırdığını, bu değişime ayak uyduramayan işletmelerin ise zamanla yok olarak, batık işletmeler çöplüğünde yerlerini aldığını görmekteyiz. Kitabın ilk bölümünde; işletmelerde yönetim, sistem yaklaşımı, bilgi kavramı ve bilişim sistemleri temelli yönetim bilgi sistemleri (YBS) açıklanmış, ikinci bölümde; KKP/ERP kavramı, tanımı, tarihsel gelişim süreci, kullanım amaçları, bileşenleri, özellikleri, faydaları, sorunları, maliyeti ve geleceği ile son yılların yeni teknolojisi bulut bilişim ve bulut KKP/cloud ERP tanıtılmış,  sistemin uygulama süreç aşamaları incelenerek pazarda başı çeken yerli ve yabancı KKP/ERP hizmet sağlayıcı firmalara ve niceliksel durumlarına yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde alan araştırmacıları tarafından geliştirilen KKP/ERP başarı modelleri sunularak, kullanıcılar açısından sistem başarısını etkileyen teknolojik, örgütsel ve çevresel faktörler tanımlanmıştır. Son bölümde ise kullanıcı, kullanıcı değeri, kullanıcılar açısından KKP/ERP sisteminin iş, örgütsel ve iç etkinlik ile koordinasyon üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiş ve bu bağlamda KKP sisteminin üretkenlik, etkililik, esneklik, operasyonel etkinlik, iş etkinliği ve koordinasyon üzerindeki etkileri tartışılmıştır.

A number of secret sharing schemes (SSS) have been proposed Mignote, Asmuth-Bloom, Shamir and Blakley but not without challenges. In this research we proposed an efficient threshold cryptography scheme to secure cloud ERP data. We modified the Asmuth-Bloom SSS and applied it to cloud ERP data.
