Abstract

PURPOSE: A synthetic resin composition containing gold powder, its preparation method and its use as a food container are provided, to improve antibacterial, deodorizing and infrared ray radiating effects. CONSTITUTION: The synthetic resin composition comprises 10-30 wt% of a gold powder with a size of 1 micrometer; and 70-80 wt% of a common resin. Preferably the common resin is selected from the group consisting of polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin. The method comprises the steps of impregnating gold powder into a common resin to firstly mature it; and melt mixing the firstly matured one at a temperature of 180-230 deg.C.
