酸化アルミニウム:アルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物の量比が1:2の本発明による触媒を製造した。このためにまず、酸化アルミニウムを水中に懸濁させた。次いで触媒に導入すべき白金量の半分を、従来の水溶性白金前駆体化合物の注入により懸濁液に添加した。アルミニウム・ケイ素混合物(比表面積:〜212m2/g(BET);SiO2 10質量%)を懸濁液に添加した後に、白金の残量を注入した。
比較試験のために、同じ白金含有率(ハニカム成形体の体積に対して、白金0.883g/L)を有する市販のディーゼル酸化触媒を使用したが、これは白金の全量が、5質量%のSiO2割合を有するアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物上に担持されて存在しており、かつさらにはゼオライト化合物を含有するものである。この市販のディーゼル酸化触媒もまた、1cm2あたり62個のセルを有し、壁厚が0.17mmの、被覆したコーディエライト・ハニカム成形体として存在していた。
第二の本発明による触媒を製造したが、これは、ハニカム成形体の体積に対して、白金を0.706g/Lのみ含有することが異なっていた。
例1および2に記載の方法に相応して、別の比較触媒を製造した。これは、白金を0.706g/L含有しており、かつ本発明による2.5:1の酸化アルミニウム:アルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物の量比を有していなかった。
切り出したコアのNO酸化特性を試験する前に、製造したばかりの新鮮な状態で測定したコアK1″を例外として、それ以外は特定の条件下で熱により前処理し、こうして人工的な条件下での適切な老化に供した。
Claims (13)
- 触媒担体と、白金、活性酸化アルミニウムおよびアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物からなる触媒活性被覆とを有する、ディーゼル排ガス処理用の酸化触媒において、酸化アルミニウムおよびアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物が白金により触媒活性となっており、その際、触媒中に存在する白金量の55〜95質量%は活性酸化アルミニウム上に存在しており、かつ白金の残量はアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物上に担持されており、その際、活性酸化アルミニウムおよびアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物は、互いに1:1.5〜1:4の量比で存在していることを特徴とする、触媒担体と、白金、活性酸化アルミニウムおよびアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物からなる触媒活性被覆とを有する、ディーゼル排ガス処理用の酸化触媒。
- アルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物が、アルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物の全質量に対して5〜40質量%のSiO2を含有していることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の酸化触媒。
- アルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物が、60m2/gより大きい比表面積(BET)を有していることを特徴とする、請求項2記載の酸化触媒。
- 触媒の白金含有率が、触媒担体の体積に対して1リットルあたり0.07〜7グラムであることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の酸化触媒。
- 触媒が、白金以外の別の貴金属を含有していないことを特徴とする、請求項4記載の酸化触媒。
- 触媒が、イリジウム、ルテニウムおよび金からなる群から選択される貴金属を含有していないことを特徴とする、請求項4記載の酸化触媒。
- 触媒が、希土類酸化物を含有していないことを特徴とする、請求項4から6までのいずれか1項記載の酸化触媒。
- 触媒が、4オングストロームより大きい流路幅下限を有するゼオライト化合物およびゼオライト類似の材料を含有していないことを特徴とする、請求項4から7までのいずれか1項記載の酸化触媒。
- 触媒担体と、白金、活性酸化アルミニウムおよびアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物からなる触媒活性被覆とを有するディーゼル排ガス処理用の酸化触媒が粒子フィルターの上流に配置されている、ディーゼルエンジンを有する車両のための排ガス浄化装置において、酸化触媒中で酸化アルミニウムおよびアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物が白金により触媒活性になっており、その際、触媒中に存在する白金量の55〜95質量%は活性酸化アルミニウム上に存在しており、かつ白金の残量はアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物上に担持されており、その際、活性酸化アルミニウムおよびアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物は、互いに1:1.5〜1:4の量比で存在していることを特徴とする、ディーゼルエンジンを有する車両のための排ガス浄化装置。
- 粒子フィルターが、金属製およびセラミック製の流通式フィルター支持体、焼結金属フィルター、セラミックまたは金属製の発泡構造体、ならびにセラミック製および金属製のニット状構造体および織布状構造体の群から選択されていることを特徴とする、請求項9記載の排ガス浄化装置。
- 触媒担体と、白金、活性酸化アルミニウムおよびアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物からなる触媒活性被覆とを有するディーゼル排ガス処理用の酸化触媒がSCR触媒の上流に配置されている、ディーゼルエンジンを有する車両のための排ガス浄化装置において、酸化触媒中で酸化アルミニウムおよびアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物が白金により触媒活性になっており、その際、触媒中に存在する白金量の55〜95質量%は活性酸化アルミニウム上に存在しており、かつ白金の残量はアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物上に担持されており、その際、活性酸化アルミニウムおよびアルミニウム・ケイ素混合酸化物は、互いに1:1.5〜1:4の量比で存在していることを特徴とする、ディーゼルエンジンを有する車両のための排ガス浄化装置。
- 排ガスを請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載のディーゼル排ガス処理用の酸化触媒に導通することを特徴とする、ディーゼル排ガスの処理法。
- 酸化触媒の入口における排ガスの温度が常に500℃を下回っていることを特徴とする、請求項12記載のディーゼル排ガスの処理法。
