(15)前記第1の方向と異なる方向は前記第2の方向であることを特徴とする(14)に記載の液晶表示装置。
Claims (8)
- 第1の方向に延在し、第2の方向に配列するデータ線と、第2の方向に延在し、第1の方向に配列した走査線と、前記データ線と前記走査線とで囲まれた領域にTFTと画素電極が形成されたTFT基板を有する、少なくとも一方向に湾曲することが出来る表示装置であって、
前記TFT基板はフィルム基材に接着層を介して接着し、
前記フィルム基材はポリイミド、ポリアミドイミド、ポリエステルイミド、ポリエーテルイミド、ポリエステル、ポリカーボネートのいずれかで形成され、
前記フィルム基材の物性は、寸法変化率が0.04%以下、内部応力が40MPa以下、弾性率が1〜10GPaであり、
前記接着層の弾性率は1〜500MPa、貯蔵弾性率は10〜50MPaであることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記表示装置は前記第1の方向に湾曲することができ、
前記データ線は前記第1の方向の部分と前記第1の方向とは異なる方向の部分とが特定ピッチで接続されていることを特徴とすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記表示装置は前記第2の方向に湾曲することができ、
前記走査線は前記第2の方向の部分と前記第2の方向とは異なる方向の部分とが特定ピッチで接続されていることを特徴とすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記接着層は、ゴム系接着剤、あるいはゴム系粘着材であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記接着層は、エポキシ硬化成分とゴム系エラストマーからなる複合材料系であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記接着層はエポキシ樹脂系、ポリイミド樹脂系、あるいはフェノール樹脂系の熱硬化性樹脂とアクリルゴム、NBR、エポキシ系ブタジエン、フェノキシ樹脂などの高分子の組み合わせたものであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記TFT基板は、ガラス基板であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6の何れか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記フィルム基材の厚さは、前記TFT基板の厚さよりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7の何れか1項に記載の表示装置。
