Description
[担持用担体複合酸化物の作製]
<製造例1>
所定量のK2CO3とNb2O5とを乳鉢で湿式混合した。これをアルミナ坩堝に移し、マッフル炉にて5℃/minで800℃まで昇温し、800℃で10時間熱処理を施した。これにより、KNbO3で示される組成の複合酸化物を作製した。
製造例1と同様の方法でNaNbO3で示される組成の複合酸化物を作製した。
製造例1と同様の方法でKTaO3で示される組成の複合酸化物を作製した。
市販のAl2O3(住友化学製 AF115)を用意した。
製造例1と同様の方法でLiNbO3で示される組成の複合酸化物又は酸化物を作製した。
次に、上記製造例1〜5の各複合酸化物について、個別に以下の処理を施した。即ち、所定量の硝酸パラジウムニ水和物をイオン交換水に溶解させ、硝酸パラジウム水溶液を作製した。硝酸パラジウム水溶液と、所定量の各複合酸化物(KNbO3、NaNbO3、KTaO3、Al2O3、及びLiNbO3)の粉末とをナス型フラスコに入れ、ナス型フラスコをロータリーエバポレータで減圧しながら、60℃の湯浴中で蒸発乾固させた。その後、マッフル炉にて2.5℃/minで250℃まで昇温し、さらに5℃/minで750℃まで昇温して、750℃で3時間保持した。これにより、PdOを上記各複合酸化物又は酸化物に含浸担持した製造例1〜5の触媒粉末を得た。
次に、得られた触媒粉末について、初期及び耐久処理後の活性評価を実施した。評価は、自動車のモデル排ガスを触媒に流通させ、A/F(空燃比)=14.6相当、SV(空間速度)=50000h−1にて行った。耐久処理は、A/F=14.6相当のモデル排ガスにより980℃の耐久温度で20時間行った。これらの結果を表1,2に示す。即ち、表1には、触媒の耐久処理前の、CO、HC、及びNOの50%浄化温度と400℃での浄化率とを示す。また、表2には、触媒の耐久処理後の、CO、HC、及びNOの50%浄化温度と400℃での浄化率とを示す。
Claims (1)
- Pdが複合酸化物に担持されている排ガス浄化触媒において、
前記複合酸化物は、示性式がMXO3(M:アルカリ金属元素、X:5族元素)であり、且つ結晶構造がペロブスカイト型構造であることを特徴とする排ガス浄化触媒。
