A picketed insert 10 adapted to be removably secured in a loose leaf binder comprises three generally rectangular sheets of transparent plastic material, such as polyvinyl chloride, which are superposed and welded together along the three edges b, c, d, the top and bottom sheets being of the same size, and the middle sheet 13 extending at e beyond the other sheets to provide a stub for binding purposes. Thus, two pockets are provided, one between the top sheet 11 and the sheet 13, and the other between the sheet 13 and the bottom sheet, into which printed sheets, drawings &c. can be inserted, even when the insert 10 is removably secured in a binder. The middle sheet 13 may be coloured and opaque, and the binding stub e may be provided with filing perforations 16 to engage the rings &c. of a binder. In a modification, three inserts 10 are formed into a single unit by welding the three stubs of the middle sheets 13 together along a line between the free ends and the perforations 16. Index tabs.-The three superposed transparent sheets may each have a projection 14 so that two sealed pockets are provided to receive index tabs inserted through the main pockets. Where several inserts 10 are formed into a single unit, the index tab pockets are staggered vertically.
