[Class 30] [See also Group XXXV] In an electromagnetic vibratory motor, for setting a safety razor A in vibration as a whole the energizing coil V is mounted on the vibratory armature U, to increase the mass of the latter. The motor comprises an iron body-part S clipped to, or carried inside the handle B, and having a curved polepiece W, covered by an insulator O, and constituting an anvil which is struck by the vibrating armature V. The latter is mounted on a blade-spring K on an insulating-disc T, and conducts current to the coil V through a make-and-break M.
