355,536. Road vehicle bodies. METROPOLITAN-CAMMELL CARRIAGE, WAGON & FINANCE CO., Ltd. and RAYER, F. H., Metropolitan Works, Saltley, Birmingham. Sept. 11, 1930, No. 27106. [Class 108 (i).] In vehicle bodies the strength - giving steel and like panelling is secured on the inside of the pillars and other frame members the exterior being covered by light panelling which is easily removable and replaceable if damaged. As shown, main pillars a and horizontal frame members b, c, dare provided with wood &c. fillets m to which the light exterior panelling h is secured by screws while the main structural panelling g is riveted to the interior flanges k and provided with cover-plates o. Fig. 4 shows an arrangement for the windows the fixed lights p being secured between wooden &c. fillets r and fibre &c. channels s which serve as the runs of the movable windows. Specification 336,103, [Class 108 (i), Road vehicles, Body details &c. of], is referred to.
