Abstract

1345492 Hydraulic accumulators J H MERCIER 4 Aug 1972 [13 Aug 1971] 36597/72 Heading F1D In a hydraulic accumulator with a flexible diaphragm 30, Fig.1, and a rigid central tube 50 which has holes 53, one end of the tube is screwed to an end fitting 12a and the other end 55b slides in an end fitting 12b. The tube supports a stack of washers 54 and a deflector 60, which may be fixed in a selected position along the length of the tube by a pin 61. The diaphragm 30 is clamped to the end members by screwed retainers 37a, 37b. Seals 23, 24 are provided. The diaphragm comprises two halves cemented together at 30c.
