Abstract

126,593. Lavertine, J. C. Feb. 11, 1919. Razors, safety. Safety-razor blades are gripped, for stropping or honing, between the jaws A, B of tong-levers made of flat metal rod or strip, the metal being bent so that the handle portions A<1>, B<1> are in planes substantially at rightangles to those of the corresponding jaw portions. Projections E on one jaw pass through the bladeholes and engage recesses F in the other jaw. A cut and bent piece H is adapted to spring into a hole J to retain the levers in their closed positions.
