In a holder, for use in stropping safety razor blades, formed from a single strip of sheet metal doubled upon itself the legs B, B<1> of the strip are normally curved outwards from the handle A in long sweeping curves, and are without projections, the blade being held between the legs when the the free ends thereof are brought together and secured in the straightened condition by a device C.
