On notera la présence d'une entretoise 8 de maintien des deux sangles écartées l'une de l'autre, cette entretoise étant placée entre le point de croisement des sangles et l'oreille du porteur, afin que la sangle supérieure notamment ne blesse pas, après un usage prolongé, l'oreille sur laquelle sans l'entretoise, elle passerait.
