Synopsis

Daily lives of high school students may seem a commonplace concept, but that certainly does not apply to the trio at Tokisadame High. For Yuuko Aioi and her two eccentric friends, every day is a unique experience. From stumbling across a wrestling match between the principal and a deer to indulging in a chopstick battle over a sausage—the excitement never ends.

One day, their lives take a turn for the bizarre when they encounter an insecure robot maid, her young excitable creator, and their down-to-earth talking cat. To the people in the world of Nichijou, daily life continues to be an endless roller coaster!

Nichijou is the BEST GODDAMN THING I HAVE EVER READ let me tell you WHY it takes place is a TOWN in JAPAN and someone laced the town water supply with COCAINE and now everybody is FUCKING INSANE and going off the walls with RANDOMNESS and OVEREXAGGERATION in a slice of life MANGA i prefer the MANGA over the ANIME because it is LONGER and there are more JOKES in it because it is LONGER the characters are all FUN and FUNNY because they have good JOKES and its really FUNNY. at one point a character RAPS and its AWESOME and i LAUGHED OUT LOUD ...

Introducing the manga that seems ordinary, but it never is. You are brought to a world of a typical calm atmosphere of a high school, with children walking to school getting ready to start class. However, you will be joining a robot, extremely young scientist, talking cat, group of three girls, an irresponsible teacher, and more along the way.

Nichijo is great for the way the atmosphere starts in every scene. By the author giving a scene of normalcy, the reader perceives it as a normal day at a normal school. However, that is when the joke comes in. Usually it is something unexpected, and throws ...

I chose this manga at Barnes and Noble by looks alone and I'm glad I did! This manga never fails to make me smile and the characters are very likable! Also, this is my very first review.

Story line: 7
There isn't much of a story line because it is just bits and pieces from the main characters daily lives but, it is always enjoyable to read them.

Characters: 9
The characters are very likable and there is a favorite character for everyone! I do wish we could get to see more character development though, of what I have read.

Art: 10
I have always loved this chibi-style art for manga ...
