One more cat video because I couldn't resist.

I don't know how close to Paris you are, but it has nice weather.
39 F/4C isn't bad by my standards at least since I'm used to winter.
I think it was in the 20's here before the temp fell to the single digits.
My cousins from California are going to complain so much once they get here
next month. I'm kinda looking forward to it. I know it's mean but I can't help it.
I'm not jealous of them or anything. They're not used to the winter since
California doesn't have it. At least where they live in CA it doesn't.
Anyway just wanted to share with you the Frosty the Snowman special since I couldn't
find the original Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer special yesterday.
It's from 1969 and it's been airing annually on CBS ever since. CBS had
the rights until last year. Now NBC has them. Just looked up the voice actor's ages.
Jimmy Durante (the narrator) died in 1980 at age 86. So he lived for a pretty long time.
He was a pretty big name in old Hollywood but I just know him for this special.
Oooh. Just found out that Jimmy Durante was in the old film It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
That one is very famous. I've seen it a few times. Good movie. Pretty funny.
Here's the link to Frosty the Snowman.

Since I talked about it here's a link to the trailer of It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World.
There's a lot of old famous US celebrities in that movie. I have to admit when I think of old
movies, I think of movies from the 30's through the 60's. Not the stuff I grew up with in the 80's
even though some of them are 40 plus years at this point.

Agreed, it would be nice if they could widen the pedestrian walkway, just like in Takayama, but I know of the engineering limitations that come with it, so it won't be easy. I still do think they the Osaka Prefectural Govt. would benefit from it in the long run though, with increased shop presence and whatnot.
Yeah, a lot of the typhoons fizzled away to regular storms by the time it got to HK, so I was lucky. For people in the Philippines and Indonesia though, it must've been a relentless period. About disappearing countries/islands, it reminded me that the region I'm from is project to sink by 2075. I haven't spent much time there though, so it leaves me with very mixed feelings about it. Saving enough money to make the most out of Maldives is one of my main goals by 2030 too.
Ahaha, I took the hard challenge on and just with it, even without sunscreen, lmao. Didn't have to worry about Vitamin D and I think I'm good for the next couple of years or so with that, lol. As for the fans, I found it a lot useful to have it blow at the bottom of the chin/neck area. It's super common in HK too and I learnt the right way to use it here from my local friends.
Yeah, I get what you mean. There isn't as many vacant spaces now too like in S;G and Akiba's Trip, which is a pity but natural considering it's got to survive the times too. Sad that the Sega Building had to go away, never got the chance to see it ;-;
Ah, that's a miss, imo. Tokyo Metropolitan area might not be as unique or have its own little charms much as the other regions but it's very well developed so it's easy to roam around.
There's one thing for sure and that is there can never be enough medical facilities and personnel. Especially with the world aging, there's a good chance that our extinction might come from viruses.
Oh hey, that's nice! I got so used to konbini food and often they would be kind of, let's say not-optimum-temperature lol.
Yeah, but I've heard that the middle areas are closer to Ho Chi Minh in terms of culture so I grouped them into one trip.
Yikes, that sounds rough. Mine has gotten worse since we last talked and I've made it pretty much 1500-2300 or so, lol. Sorry I couldn't reply too, Japanese Master's applications are sucking the life out of me now. And my contract ends on 31st Dec. too, so I'm looking for a job too. Life's rough...
I think you might like the Charlie Brown songs on it plus there's a Muppet song
with John Denver in the playlist.
The song isn't as good as Even a Miracle Needs a Hand but it is a good song.
I agree with the others in the comments who find it motivational.

Also here's the Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer special I've been meaning to send you.
It's not the original unfortunately (it was taken down) but it's a re-freshing of the 64 original
with new angles and additional scenes. The original is a lot longer at 20 something minutes.
It's very well done though. Some of the songs from the original are in the playlist
with the Charlie Brown songs and Muppet song.

It also had a sequel Rudolph's Shiny New Year and Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July.
The last one I didn't know about until I was a teenager in high school.
I grew up watching the first two Rudolph specials and two of the Frosty the Snowman specials
so the crossover between the two of them was a big deal. The originals for both are the best
but I have a lot of love for the sequels as well.
Unrelated but if you saw the Batman and Robin movie that had Arnold S. as Mr. Freeze, there's a
short part of the movie that shows part of a Rankin Bass Christmas special. I'll share you a clip
of that special someday so you'll know what I'm talking about. Prob sometime tomorrow.
Started out as a cough which quickly turned into a sore throat. Started getting
the chest cold last night which is what I have now.
Taking daytime cough medicine for it but it still sucks. I have nighttime cough
medicine as well but I don't like it nearly as much. It has a little alcohol in it
and tastes terrible. The daytime stuff is great though since it has honey in it.
Anyway just wanted to send this to you. You remember the Andy Kaufman SNL clip
I sent to you of him singing Mighty Mouse? It's a old cartoon here that started in
the 60's. There was also the version I watched reruns of that was the New Adventures
of Heckle and Jeckle along with Mighty Mouse from 79. Same age as me.
There was a version from the late 80's that I didn't know about and this is the
acaplella version that Triforcefilms made. It works since the original is a acappella too.

Here's the original to compare.
