v3.0.4
GeneMark-ETP changed license and dropped the requirement for a license key. These changes have been incorporated in BRAKER.
Full Changelog: v3.0.3...v3.0.4
v3.0.3
v3.0.2
- Make it very clear that UTR prediction is currently a developmental, unstable feature that should not be used (and will not be debugged, soon).
v3.0.1
Fixed typo in line 1890.
Please note that the usage changed for softmasking and threading (not with this release, though). Softmasking is now the default assumption, i.e. it must and should not be specified on the command line. Threading is enabled with --threads INT .
BRAKER v3.0.0
Finally, a hopefully stable release of BRAKER3.
- supports both protein and RNA-Seq evidence
- has a functional Docker/Singularity container
- GeneMark license key still needs to reside in user home directory
BRAKER on Easter 2021
Happy Easter 2021 to all BRAKER users!
We are glad that you are still with us despite all the problems that the global pandemic situation is imposing on all of us.
What's new in BRAKER v2.1.6 (compared to 2.1.5):
-
many small bugs were fixed
-
scripts for evaluating gene predictions from GaTech were included
-
UTR prediction with GUSHR was added (even though still a bit buggy in this release...)
-
usage of fixed random seeds to improve reproducability of results
-
improved documentation
-
improved tests
As always, there is a lot of room to improve BRAKER in future versions. But we have postponed this release for too many months. This - for this year's easter - the best we can do.
