Sue-Belle
Sue-Belle is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.[2]
Biography
The Wind Waker
Personality: Serious
Sue-Belle was born and raised on Windfall, but she became concerned for the health of her grandfather, Sturgeon, so she decided to move to live with him on Outset Island.
Morning, noon and night, she fills vases with water and carries them on her head from the well to their house. Strangely enough, she actually enjoys the task.
Sue-Belle was originally born and raised on Windfall Island, but now resides on Outset Island with her grandfather, Sturgeon. She wears a pink dress and has blue-purple hair. She is always carrying a Jar of water over her head, and gives Link advice on how to lift jars and throw rocks. If Link throws a rock or any other projectile at her, the Jar will smash, leaving her shocked and saddened. If Link speaks to her after smashing her pot, she will take ten of his Rupees.
She is friends with Linda of Windfall Island. Sue-Belle sent her the orange dress she wears.[3]
Four Swords Adventures
Sue-Belle makes a small cameo appearance in the Japanese and Korean versions of Four Swords Adventures as an unlockable host for Navi Trackers.
Trivia
- The "little girl" targets in the Molida Island Shooting Gallery in Phantom Hourglass seem to resemble Sue-Belle.
Nomenclature
Sue is a shortened derivation of the name Susanna, which is built from the Hebrew word shoshan, meaning "rose" or "lily", [4] while belle is a French word for "beautiful". [5]

A friend of mine who lives on Outset Island sent this outfit to me. She's an amazing girl. She can put jars on her head and walk around like it's nothing at all! You have to see it to believe it!
