Kinstones are Items in The Minish Cap.[1]

Overview

Kinstones are mystical green, red, blue, and gold medallions that can yield Rupees and Pieces of Heart, and on several occurrences, begin sidequest events when two Kinstone Pieces of identical color and complementary shape are Fused. These Kinstones, created and hidden about Hyrule by the Minish, are seen as a sign of good luck, especially if two people are engaged in Kinstone Fusion.[2]

Types of Kinstones

Green Kinstones

Main article: Green Kinstone

Green Kinstones are the most common Kinstones. Green Kinstone Pieces can be found simply by cutting grass and defeating enemies.

Blue Kinstones

Main article: Blue Kinstone

Blue Kinstones are less common; though they can be obtained by cutting grass, digging, or defeating enemies, they are most commonly found in Chests.

Red Kinstones

Main article: Red Kinstone

Red Kinstones are rare; they can only be bought or claimed from Chests, unless Link uses White Picolyte.

Gold Kinstones

Main article: Gold Kinstone

Gold Kinstones are the rarest Kinstones and the only type that cannot be found in the Overworld or bought. Only nine of them can be found in the game, and they are only discovered and used as a function of the plot.
