Chakrams (チャクラム Chakuramu) are the weapon of choice for Axel. They are circular bladed weapons, resembling Lea's flying disks from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. Most of the names of Axel's Chakrams are themed after heat or fire. His main weapon in the Kingdom Hearts series is a pair of Chakrams named "Eternal Flames". Axel has a habit of twirling his Chakrams in his hands while idle, except in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories.
As Lea, he continues to use the Eternal Flames before ultimately replacing them with the Bond of the Blaze Keyblade, which can Formchange into the Eternal Flames.
