After being benched with a knee injury, Los Angeles Laker Lonzo Ball is reportedly expecting his first child with high school sweetheart Denise Garcia.

TMZ Sports 'confirmed' Wednesday that the 20-year-old NBA point guard's babymama is four months along following her ominous tweet Tuesday reading: 'I've never been so overwhelmed.'

The 6ft6in athlete has been romancing his brunette babymama - whose fetus is 'very healthy' - since they attended Chino Hills High and she works for his father LaVar's Big Baller Brand.

Ball will miss his 12th straight game this Thursday against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to sustaining a sprained left medial collateral ligament (MCL).

'I can't take off like full sprints, and I can't jump either,' Lonzo lamented at Wednesday's practice - according to NBA.com.

'When I can do those things, that’s when hopefully I can get on the court.'
