Ditching the sex symbol status: In new images of his film Dark Shadows, Johnny Depp looks sinister and creepy
And the new stills of the film give off a Twilight feel - albeit for more adult fans.
The pictures show just how dark the thriller is as Johnny's character Barnabas Collins is put in a coffin by Eva Green's Angelique Bouchard.
In one image he looks scared as he's chained and placed in the coffin, while Eva looks down at him.
An adult Twilight: He plays a vampire in the Tim Burton film, with his pale skin and dark eyes
Sinister scenes: The new pictures, released by Warner Bros., show just how dark the fantasy film will look like
And it is a stark change for the French actress, who sexes up her image for the Tim Burton project with a striking blonde look.
The former Bond Girl looks like a vixen when she channels Jessica Rabbit in a floorlength red halterneck dress, which showed off her cleavage as she seductively stood in a dark hallway.
In another picture, the actress gave a frightening look with a stern pale face, while her nails were painted a dark rouge to match her blood red lips.
A mean Jessica Rabbit? French actress Eva Green also shows off her image change in a seductive red dress
Vixen: It is a far cry from her Bond Girl image with her blonde hair and crimson lips
But in another she looks more fun loving as she laughs and smiles at Depp's blood sucking character.
The new images also show off the new looks of the rest of the all star line-up.
Helena Bonham Carter also debuted her orange wavy bob as she sits around a table with Johnny Lee Miller, who has a slick blonde hairdo.
Some images of the film were revealed last month as the teaser trailer was released.
Creepy! Ghosts and ghouls, as well as gothic scenes are unveiled in the new stills
Lead stars: Eva's character Angelique Bouchard turns Depp's Barnabus Collins into a vampire and buries him alive
But more insight has now been given as stars, including Michelle Pfeiffer and Kick-Ass's Chloe Moretz show off their creepy characters.
Michelle, 53, who plays Elizabeth Collins Stoddard in the movie, can be seen clutching on to her children, played by Chloe and Gulliver McGrath, in one of the stills.
And the dark feel to the film is given off even more with images of ghosts, blood splattered walls and gothic house Collinwood Manor.
Burton has made a big screen adaptation of the U.S. sixties soap opera, which sees Depp's character Barnabas Collins as a rich and powerful playboy who breaks the heart of Angelique.
Arising: The star wakes up 20 years later, while the film looks reminiscent of the Twilight franchise
More revealed: Eva looks set to lead the all star cast in the new images
Played by Eva Green, Angelique is the one who turns Collins into a vampire and also buries him alive.
However, two centuries later, Collins is freed from his tomb and emerges into the very changed world of 1972.
He finds cousin, family matriarch Elizabeth Collins Stoddard (Michelle Pfeiffer) has brought psychiatrist Hoffman to live at Collinwood to help with her with her family's various troubles, including her brother Roger's (Jonny Lee Miller) troubled son, David (Gulliver McGrath).
Michelle Pfeiffer and Chloe Moretz are also part of the stellar line-up for the film, which is due for release next month
New looks all round: Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Lee Miller also star
Team work: It will mark the eighth collaboration between Johnny Depp and Tim Burton
Bella Heathcote co-stars as nanny Victoria Winters, Ray Shirley is Mrs Johnson and Jackie Earle Haley as Willie Loomis.
It marks Depp's eighth collaboration with Burton and recently told MTV about the film: 'Over the years all these vampire TV shows, the movies have come out and nobody looks like a vampire - what happened?
Star appeal: Warner Bros. previously released a trailer, but as the release date gets closer they're teasing even more
'I adored Dracula and still do. All those wonderful horror films. This was an opportunity to go into something which doesn't really exist any more, which is classic make-up and a classic monster character.
'So that was really the inspiration and what Tim and I talked about a lot.'
