Gwyneth Paltrow embraced 1950s style in a classy look as she filmed a scene for the upcoming sports drama film, Marty Supreme, in New York City on Thursday.
The Oscar winner, 52 - who was convinced to take on a role in the project due to her daughter Apple Martin - could be seen strolling down a sidewalk in the bustling city as she headed towards the main set.
Her co-star, Timothee Chalamet, has also been busy shooting scenes for the Josh Safdie-directed movie which is reportedly inspired by ping-pong player, Marty Reisman.
Paltrow stunned wearing a black skirt with a high slit on the front, as well as a matching jacket.
She completed the outfit by donning a black, turtleneck sweater and slipped into a pair of open-toed sandals to stay comfortable in between takes.

The star's blonde locks were parted to the side, and effortlessly flowed down in elegant curls to brush her shoulders.
She opted to not wear any flashy pieces of jewelry to allow the monochromatic ensemble to be the main focal point.
Paltrow's makeup was classically done, and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a light pink blush to her cheekbones for a radiant glow.
The Goop founder also added a rosy pink, matte tint to her lips for a finishing touch for the day of filming.
Gwyneth was seen holding her smartphone in her hand as she was guided towards the Marty Supreme set.
The A24 film - which is currently in the midst of its production stages - is directed by Josh Safdie, who is known for other projects such as Uncut Gems (2019) and Good Time (2017).
Aside from Paltrow and Chalamet, other stars that have been cast in the movie include Fran Drescher, Odessa A'zion, Penn Jillette, Kevin O'Leary, Abel Ferrara and Tyler, the Creator in his film debut.
Most plot details have remained under wraps but is a 'fictional work set in the world of 1950s ping pong culture,' per Variety.

However, Gwyneth added, 'I am excited to kind of get back into it and give it a real try - see how it feels. And then I'll let you know.'

In regards to Goop's success, she stated, 'It's taken a lot of hard work and perseverance, but you know, I do it with so much love, and so I'm glad to see that we've been able to build year over year. It's thrilling.'
