Neymar is set to become the world's most expensive footballer with an eye-watering £198million move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain.

And with this deal, PSG will not only secured the services of one of the game's most potent attackers, but they will prise the Brazilian away from the most dangerous triumvirate in the modern era.

Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez have struck fear into defences since the latter made the switch from Liverpool in 2014 — and have stacked up some staggering numbers together.

Since the beginning of the 2014-15 campaign, Neymar featured in 145 games, Messi starred in 158 and Suarez was involved 147 times. That's a combined total of 450 games in all competitions. In those games, the trio notched up an incredible 364 goals between them, at an impressive average of 0.81 goals per game.

Individually, Messi led the way with 153 goals with Suarez just behind on 121, while the Brazilian managed 90. 

And if they were not scoring them, they were setting them up. During their 450 appearances, 'MSN' racked up 173 assists — often assisting each other in the process.

The Parisian club will smash the world record set by Paul Pogba's £89million move to Manchester United by more than double.

But perhaps more importantly, Ernesto Valverde will need to secure a replacement for the 25-year-old in order for them to move on from the 'MSN' era and mount another challenge for the La Liga title next term.
