A list of eight best homes in the world has been released as part of an Ultimate House Hunt.

The collection of stunning abodes includes properties from South Africa, Greece, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, as well as Canada, Malaysia and Switzerland.

The list was compiled by Leading Real Estate Companies of the World and Luxury Portfolio International.

The competition, which received one million votes last year, is open from June 13 to July 18 on home and lifestyle site HGTV.
