Nova Storm and Slipstream tracked Windblade and Bumblebee in jet mode. Fractured However, the energy pulse released by Windblade's cortical psychic patch knocked her and Thundercracker off their feet. Nova informed her captain that they would investigate the nearby Autobots. Soon after, Nova duelled Windblade in a dogfight, before being buried with Thundercracker under rubble. Memory Nova Storm, along with Thundercracker, intercepted communications between Bumblebee and Windblade, and pursued Windblade to the Himalayas. Joined by Slipstream, the Seekers engaged Windblade, and were handily defeated. Whiteout When Shockwave invaded Bumblebee’s mind and took control of the stolen Decepticon scout ship, Nova Storm stood ready with Thundercracker when Slipstream confirmed Shockwave’s success. When the ship’s autopilot brought the ship directly to them, the Seekers ambushed and briefly captured Windblade, who escaped with Bumblebee's help. Sabotage While searching for Bumblebee and Windblade, Nova Storm reported no sign of them to Slipstream, who ordered her back to base. Slipstream’s squad, Nova Storm included, later used Teletraan-X to set a trap for the elusive Autobots, luring them to an abandoned missile silo. Nova Storm and Thundercracker restrained Windblade, and was head-butted by Teletraan-X when she menaced Bumblebee. The seekers pursued the Autobots through the facility and split up, Nova Storm and Thundercracker going after Bumblebee, who once again evaded capture. Regrouping, the squad captured Windblade while Bumblebee escaped from the silo, their pursuit cut off. When the Autobots reached the North Pole, Nova Storm and Slipstream were drawn away from the ship by Windblade, who knocked the Seekers from the sky. The Extinction Event

Bad Moon Rising Nova Storm was among the Seekers present at the abandoned missile silo when Slipstream arrived in search of answers, and when Starscream arrived shortly after with the Allspark. Trials Nova Storm was among the Seekers who were assembled before a triumphant Starscream, and confirmed that she saw Megatron terminate him. Slipstream urged the other Seekers to leave, but Nova Storm rebuked her, insisting Starscream had become something more. Dark Birth Nova Storm watched as Starscream introduced the reborn “ancients”, and pursued the horrified Slipstream as she fled. Parley Nova Storm, Thundercracker and Thrust ambushed Bumblebee, and pursued Cheetor when he discovered them. Her Male equivalent
  • This is the first mainstream usage of the name "Nova Storm", having previously only been used as a retroactively-applied name given to a member of the Generation 1 Rainmakers (via "Ask Vector Prime"). While both Seekers, this Nova Storm differs from the original in both gender and color scheme, being primarily purple rather than yellow.
  • Early model art for the character (seen at right) indicates that Nova Storm was originally planned to be male. Given the purple-and-black colours and her partnership with Thundercracker, it seems this character may have originally been intended to be the Cyberverse version of Thundercracker's traditional flying partner Skywarp, but the character’s name was changed when it was decided to change their gender to female. Skywarp was conspicuously absent from the first two seasons of Cyberverse until season 3. By that time, any hypothetical reservations about a female Skywarp must have ended, given a proper Cyberverse Skywarp appears with the character's traditional gender inverted.
  • Starting with "Sabotage", Nova Storm uses an incorrect model where she lacks any trim on her cockpit in robot mode.
