Windblade arrives on Earth before the Decepticons and meets her old friend Bumblebee, who doesn't recognize her.

Synopsis
Bumblebee is enjoying driving along a desert road, pulling off stunts, when he spots a nearby chasm and naturally attempts to jump it. He almost makes it to the other side when he's distracted by Windblade's voice and clings to the cliff face by one hand for a few moments before falling. Windblade herself swoops in and plucks him out of mid-air, though it takes a couple of attempts, and reunites with her long lost comrade. Afterwards, she asks him why he's on Earth and he fires the same question back at her.
After Optimus Prime and his team left in search of the AllSpark, she and other Autobots remained on Cybertron to continue the fight. The Decepticons figured out the AllSpark was on Earth, and headed there with their fleet. When Windblade received no word from Optimus, she traveled to Earth herself through the space bridge repaired by Perceptor, though the space bridge exploded afterwards, making it a one-way trip. She searched fruitlessly for the AllSpark before finding Bumblebee.
After a series of questions, Windblade realizes Bumblebee has amnesia, just in time for Thundercracker to show up. The Decepticon defeats Windblade, and attempts to finish her off before Bumblebee intervenes. Thundercracker tosses the scout asside and attempts to kill Bumblebee using Windblade's sword before Bumblebee momentarily paralyzes the Decepticon with his stinger. Thundercracker breaks free, but Windblade blows him off the cliff before he can deal more damage. The two Autobots head elsewhere to find a safe place.
The pair find cover near a disused mine entrance and Windblade struggles to get Bumblebee focused so she can enter his mind using a cortical psychic patch. Promising the procedure won't hurt a bit, Windblade connects their minds and finds herself in Bumblebee's damaged mental landscape, with the enormous face of Megatron looming over her. In the real world, Windblade screams and gives off a pulse of energy as both Autobots collapse. Some distance away, Thundercracker and Nova Storm are flying in jet mode.

Notes
Transformers references
- The cortical psychic patch that Windblade uses on Bumblebee comes directly from the Transformers: Prime cartoon series; in addition to looking exactly like its Prime counterpart, its ability to allow the user and their patient to recall specific memories seems inspired by the Prime episode "Patch."
- The space bridge design seen in this episode also resembles the same technology seen in Prime.
- Bumblebee having a damaged voice box that Ratchet attempted to repair and speaking in media quotes or bleeps is akin to the Movieverse and Aligned versions respectively. According to showrunner Randolph Heard, this was a request from Hasbro in order to create synergy with Bumblebee, which released a few months after the show premiered.
- Perceptor's overall design is similar to his IDW counterpart, in particular one of his eyes being an enlarged viewfinder.
- "Nova Storm" was the name given by the Transformers Collectors' Club via Ask Vector Prime to the yellow Generation 1 Rainmaker, and here it is reused with a gender change and color change.
Animation and technical errors
- During the 360° spin of Thundercracker and Windblade's fight, Bumblebee is nowhere to be seen, despite clearly not hiding behind rocks and being close enough to grab Thundercracker's arm without being heard running towards him in the subsequent shots.
- Between shots of Windblade and Thundercracker charging at each other, his wings are compressed into his body. Later, when Thundercracker is throwing Bumblebee, between shots, his wings are suddenly extended out.
- Shadow Striker's is depicted with her original body, as opposed to the patchwork body she'd come to sport in the chronologically earlier "Shadowstriker."
Trivia
- According to series writer Mae Catt, this episode (and by extension, the rest of the first season) is set some time in the 1980s.
