Cloud World (クラウド世界 Kuraudo Sekai), also known as Cloud Spacetime (クラウド時空 Kuraudo Jikū) and Primax 514.29 Gamma, is an artificial nexus reality built by the mysterious Creator of Life as a base from which to safeguard the multiverse and perpetuated by his powerful envoy, the energy being SARA. It is populated by his agents the Spacetime Police, known locally as the Autobots, who operate out of its capital city of Metropolis. They do battle with the evil forces of the Decepticons, a group of misfits and ne'er-do-wells banned from interdimensional travel and exiled to the slums of the Underground.

Cloud

Seeking a means of maintaining the integrity of the many fractal dimensions composing the newborn multiverse, the Creator of Life made the Cloud World, and populated it with machines designed to maintain the multiversal fabric, and dispatched to it an emissary named SARA to guide them. In time, the robots of Cloud World evolved into sapient super-robot lifeforms, complete with transformation abilities. The Transformers of the Cloud World cherished SARA and embraced the task the Creator asked of them using Dimension Gates created by SARA. In addition to their other duties they gathered surplus energy from a myriad of sources in different universes for SARA so that she could metabolize it into the spacetime energy needed to maintain Cloud World's integrity. In time, these Transformers came to be known as the Spacetime Police. Unsurprisingly, the people of Cloud World regarded SARA as holy and their rulers saw that she was kept under strict guard. For a time, the Cloud civilization flourished in this way. But this could not last forever.Prologue

In time Megatron and Optimus Prime came to become officers in the Spacetime Police. The two often clashed on the best way to steward SARA's power and maintain spacetime; Optimus wanted only to use SARA to maintain the peace, while Megatron sought to use her powers to obtain direct control over the multiverse. Eventually, when the schism between the two grew too wide to overcome, Megatron gathered those who believed in his vision together beneath him, and they staged a coup within Cloud's capital of Metropolis. Defeated by Optimus's side—though only just—Megatron and his followers were banished to the Underground, Cloud's seedy underbelly, populated by exiles from the city above banned from multiversal travel.Fate

In the Underground, Megatron radicalized the exiles and outcasts into a new army, calling for them to rise up against the Spacetime Police (known locally as the Autobots) to claim SARA and her vast interdimensional power for themselves. At Megatron's order, the newly-christened "Decepticons" set forth to invade Metropolis. Uprising This time, Megatron's forces succeeded in seizing SARA. Fate Resorting to Metropolis's back-up store of spacetime energy, Optimus Prime and a detachment of Autobots mounted a counter-invasion of the Underground to reclaim SARA.Resolve The Autobots breached the Decepticon base only to find Megatron wiring SARA's physical orb form into his body in an attempt to gain mastery over spacetime directly. The ensuing scuffle saw Megatron, SARA and Optimus Prime thrown out of Cloud World entirely. Leap Cloud World's structure immediately began to degrade with the shock of the sudden loss of SARA, though the Autobots were able to slow the collapse with Metropolis's remaining emergency stores of spacetime energy. Rampage

SARA and Optimus Prime eventually managed to shake Megatron and make it back to Cloud World, though not without considerable loss: SARA, having lost most of her energy, was forced to condense into a material form- a small humanoid girl. Rampage Return
