Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS has been elected a member of another prestigious international scientific organization, the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP). On this occasion, a welcome letter was sent to ANAS on behalf of the organization's management.

The letter states:

On behalf of the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP), we are pleased to inform you that the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) has been provisionally accepted by the IAP Board for IAP membership.

A certificate of full membership will be issued by the IAP General Assembly that will next meet in 2025. In the meantime, you can join in all IAP activities besides voting, and your Academy will have its profile page on the IAP website. Please find below the link to the relevant section: https://www.interacademies.org/network/member-academies.

Please provide the following information to IAP Secretariat ([email protected]) to be posted on the IAP website and included in our records:

• the Academy logo (in high resolution)

• a paragraph about the academy

• the name and picture of your current president (in high resolution)

• names and email addresses of the academy contact persons

It should be noted that the Secretariat of the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP), which unites most academies from the five continents of the world, is located in Trieste, Italy and Washington, USA.

For information, in 2023-2024, ANAS was also elected a member of academic organizations such as the International Science Council, the Association of Academies and Societies of Sciences in Asia, and the Eurasian Universities Union.
