Abstract
The invention relates to a battery module (300, 300a, 300b, 300c) comprising at least one, preferably a plurality of battery cells (100) which are designed substantially like plates and are surrounded by a foam structure (200) that includes at least two foam layers (201, 202, 203, 204) having the same or different mechanical, physical and/or chemical properties.
