Abstract
For a reliable clamping of connections of plastic material pipes (101) against axial forces, rolling members (24, 35) having peripheral asperities (25) are housed in a sealing joint (13, 23). Ein kombinierter Dichtungs- und Schubsicherungsring dieser Art ist aus der DE-OS 28 54 868 bekannt. Bei diesem sind als Klemmelemente mehrere in Umfangsrichtung in größeren Abständen angeordnete Klemmstücke aus Kunststoff vorgesehen, die an ihrer teilzylindrischen Innenfläche einen festen Belag aus Körnern aufweist, welche aus einem gegenüber dem Kunststoff der Klemmstücke und der Rohre und dem Rohrformkörper härteren Material bestehen. Die Klemmstücke können eine Umfangsbohrung aufweisen, durch die ein schnurartiges Tragelement für die Klemmstücke eingelegt werden kann bzw. durch Bohrungserweiterungen der Werkstoff des Dichtelementes schnurartig in die Bohrung eingepreßt werden kann. Schon die Herstellung der Klemmstücke ist relativ aufwendig und führt zu relativ hohen Kosten, die nicht immer bei einem Massenartikel toleriert werden können.
Die vom Volumen relativ großen Klemmstücke erfordern auch einen ausreichend weiten. Umfangsabstand, um eine sichere Einbettung der Klemrnstücke in dem Dichtungsring zu ermöglichen. Dabei zeigt es sich, daß bei der Klemmung von Kunststoffröhren (PVC) bei längeren Standzeiten unter Druck das Material der Kunststoffrohre in die Zwischenräume zwischen benachbarten Klemms-tücken auf kaltem Wege fließt, wodurch die Klemmwirkung allmählich nachläßt. Dadurch wird gewährleistet, daß die Lücken zwischen aufeinanderfolgenden Umfangsflachen der Rollkörper, die an dem Einsteckende des Rohres angreifen, außerordentlich gering sind, so daß ein Kaltfließen des Materials der Rohre im Klemmbereich nicht stattfinden kann. Dadurch wird auch über lange Standzeiten die Klemmwirkung im wesentlichen unverändert aufrecht gehalten. Trotz der dichten Umfangsreihung der Rollkörper ist der kombinierte Dichtungs- und Schubsicherungsring ausreichend flexibel, um leicht in die Umfangssicke des Muffenendes eingelegt werden zu können. Um die Buchse 114 in ihrer Lage noch besser zu sichern kann sie von ihrem freien weiten Ende vorspringende Zungen 116 aufweisen, die zur Rohrachse konvergieren und über den Bereich des größten Durchmessers 115 der Sicke schnappartig hinweggreifen.
