POCKET-BOOK.

SPECIFICATION forming' part of Letters Patent No. 697,751, dated April 15, 1902.

In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is anisometrical representation of my improved pocket-book in its open position. Fig. 2 is an isometrical representation of the pocket-book partially folded. Fig; 3 is an isometrical representation of the pocket-book in its folded position.

That portion of the pocket-book comprising the receptacle 1 and flap 2 is of an old construction. To the end 3 of the flap 2 is secured the back 4 of the pocket for holding small is placed in the pocket formed by the lower portion of the flap 2, back 4, and edge pieces 5 and 6.

At Fig. 2 the pocket-book is shown partially folded, in which it will be seen that the edge piece 6 overlies the edge piece 5, and the lines 8 show the creases in the edge pieces when the fold is made.

At Fig. 3 the pocket-book is shown in its folded position and held by a band 9.

By thus constructing the pocket it can be readily opened and all the change exhibited, and when folded the change is held securely.

I claim as my invention- A pocket-book comprising a series of pockets, an end pocket made up of an end, back and two side pieces, the side pieces secured to the end and back, the end forming the division between the end pocket and series of pockets and having a flap extension.
