It is an object of the present invention to provide a Wing type tie holder which Will efficiently support a plurality of modern ties having a hook member secured behind the knot.
Another Vobject of the present invention is to provide a tie holder which will be made of brass or chromeplated stiff Wire which Will be easily fastened to a door or wall t'o provide a means for 'supporting ties so that they are all visible for easy selection.
A further object of the present invention is to provide va tie holder of the above mentioned type which will be attractive in appearance as Well as being practica'l and serving a useful purpose by displaying all of the ties supported thereon.
Other 'objects of the invention are to provide a tie holder bearing the above objects in mind which is of simple construction, has a minimum number of parts, is inexpensive to manufacture and eflicient in operation and use.
For other objects and for a better understanding of the invention, reference may be had to the following detailed description taken in conjunction With the accompanying drawing, in which:
FIGURE 1 is a perspective view of the present inventi'on;
FIGURE 2 is a cross sectional view taken along the lines 2-2 of FIGURE l.
Referring now more in detai'l to the drawing, a tie holder made in accordance with the present invention is shown to include a horizontal elongated base bar 12 to which is secured, in a suitable manner, a pair of parallel, spaced apart Vertical bars 14 and a central bar 16 having an eye 18 in its upper extremity for receiving a suitable fastener for supporting tie holder 10. A pair of parallel bars 20 are -fixedly secured to the upper extremity of vertical bar 14, and a plurality 'of U-shaped members 22 are spaced apart and are staggered with respect to each other and are fixedly secured to bars 20 and base bar 12, and provide a means `of receiving the hooks 24 of ties 26 and support ties 26.
In use, a suitable fastener is placed in the eye 18, and
ICC
It shall be recognized that the U-shaped members 22 are staggered in order that a plurality of ties 26 thereon may be individually observed at the same time, providing ia means for the user to make a quick selection.
While various changes may be made in the detail construction, it shall lbe understood that such changes shall be within the spirit and scope of the present invention as defined by the appended claims.
What I claim as new and desire to protect by Letters Patent of the United States is:
1. A tie holder for supporting wing type ties, having a hook member, comprising an elon'gated base bar providing supporting means for a plurality of said Wing type ties, a pair of Vertical and parallel, spaced apart bars, said base bar secured to said Vertical bars for providing sup- .port means in conjunction with a central vertically disposed bar, an eyelet member for receiving a Wall fastener, secured to said central bar, a pair of parallel, spaced apart upper horizontal bars secured t'o said vertically disposed bars, and a plurality of U-shaped members firmly aflixed to said base and said upper horizontal bars therelby providing means for receiving Wing type ties, and said U-shaped members being positioned in a staggered relationship to each other to prevent a plurality of ties from interfering with each other.
2. The combination according to zclaim 1 Wherein said U-shaped member secured to said bars of said holder provides a means for freely receiving a hook member extending from the knot of the Wing type ties and thus the Wing type ties depend downwardly from'said U-shaped members 'of said tie holder and said base bar extends beyond the ends of the rectangular frame formed by said Vertical and upper horizontal bars.
