My invenon relates to e class of machinery used for cutting glues and standing grain; und it consists in the employment of. e male and female spur-gear wheel, positively driven by the seme gear, and caused to mesh with the crank f shaft pinion from.l opposite sides, substaniially as and for the purpose hereinafter set forth.
It also consists in the means employed' for ecuring vertical adjustment of the forward end of the frame, and of the cutting device attached thereto, substentielly as end for thc purpose hereinafter specified.
