The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a mask pack for LEDs, and more particularly, to a mask pack for LEDs having temperature sensitivity and photothermal effect and a method for manufacturing the same.
The domestic beauty device market has grown at an annual growth rate of more than 10%, expanding to about 500 billion won in 2019. In addition, as the popularity of home beauty, which allows easy skin care at home, has recently increased, various beauty device products have been released, and among them, the demand for LED masks is increasing. LED stands for Light Emitting Diode, and an LED mask is a mask-shaped skin beauty device worn on the face. The LED light placed on the surface in contact with the device provides skin improvement effects such as skin elasticity improvement by irradiating the skin with LED wavelengths. Existing mask packs are in the form of attaching an ampoule-absorbing sheet directly to the face, and are generally disposable, so they can only be used once and have the disadvantage that active ingredients do not penetrate deep into the skin. On the other hand, LED masks can be used permanently through charging. It enables continuous skin care, and it has the advantage of being able to easily perform skin sagging relief, wrinkle improvement, acne treatment, etc. at home through LED light, which was possible only by visiting a dermatologist.
On the other hand, the skin of the human body is divided into three layers: epidermis (outer skin), dermis (endodermis), and subcutaneous tissue, of which the dermis is composed of fibrous components and matrix components. Collagen, which accounts for 90% of the dermal layer, plays a role in protecting the skin by maintaining its three-dimensional structure and imparting tensile strength, and elastin, which accounts for about 3-4% of the dermal layer, is an elastic fiber that acts like a spring between three-dimensional structures to maintain skin elasticity. In addition, the dermal layer is composed of high-molecular lipid components such as hyaluronic acid and mucopolysaccharide having strong water-holding ability. However, over time, the function of fibroblasts and the number of cells decrease due to aging, resulting in a decrease in the amount of synthesis of extracellular matrix protein fibers such as collagen, elastin, and fibrillin, and a decrease in skin elasticity due to loose structure and loss of moisture in the skin. In addition, due to the increase in the action of collagenase, the cross-linked form of collagen increases, resulting in a decrease in moisturizing. In order to prevent skin aging and maintain elastic skin, various nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and peptides, which help in the production of collagen and elastin, must be supplied. can be exerted. However, the amount of functional ingredients included in existing mask packs passing through the epidermal layer and penetrating into the dermal layer is only about 0.3% of the total content, which is very insignificant. Accordingly, there is a need for a method to further increase the absorption rate of the functional component of the mask pack.
Therefore, in the present invention, the present invention is completed by developing a mask pack for LED, which increases the absorption of functional ingredients by showing a heating effect when irradiated with LED light source to the skin, and has a temperature sensitivity and gels when attached to the skin to secure shape stability. did

The term "photothermal effect" used in the present invention refers to a physical phenomenon in which when light energy is irradiated to a material, the irradiated light energy is absorbed according to the properties and characteristics of the material and then emitted again as thermal energy, that is, The effect of absorbing light and releasing heat.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail.
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a mask pack for LED, which additionally has a photothermal effect by near-infrared rays while maintaining temperature-sensitive properties by simple mixing by adding tannic acid to methylcellulose, which is a temperature-sensitive polymer.
Method for manufacturing a mask pack for LED according to the present invention comprises the steps of: 1) preparing an aqueous solution of tannic acid; 2) preparing a metal ion aqueous solution; 3) mixing the aqueous solution of tannic acid and the aqueous solution of metal ions; 4) adjusting the pH of the mixed solution prepared in step 3) to 7.4; 5) preparing an aqueous solution of methylcellulose; and 6) adding and stirring the methylcellulose aqueous solution prepared in step 5) to the mixed solution having a pH of 7.4 prepared in step 4).
In detail, in the present invention, in order to provide a photothermal effect, first, a weak coordination bond was formed between tannic acid and metal ions, and then a strong coordination bond was formed by changing the pH. Then, methyl cellulose was added to form a strong hydrogen bond between tannic acid and methyl cellulose.
The metal ion may include, for example, iron (Fe III ), vanadium (V III ) or ruthenium (Ru III ), but is not limited thereto, and may preferably be an iron ion.
Since the coordination form of tannic acid and metal ions changes according to pH, it is important to adjust the pH of tannic acid and metal ions to an appropriate pH that can effectively control photothermal properties.
Tannic acid is a low-molecular substance among polyphenols, and especially has a large number of galloyl groups, and can form coordination bonds with metal ions using this. In addition, a hydrogen bond can be formed between the hydroxyl group of the galloyl group and methylcellulose. Tannic acid lowers the gelation temperature by increasing hydrophobic interactions between molecules of methyl cellulose through hydrogen bonding and salting-out effect with methyl cellulose. On the other hand, in the case of metal ions, the hydrophobic interaction of methylcellulose was reduced due to the salting-in effect.
Methyl cellulose is a representative temperature-sensitive cellulose derivative, and as the temperature increases, hydrophobic interactions between molecules increase and sol-gel transition occurs above a certain temperature. These temperature-sensitive characteristics can be controlled by the concentration, molecular weight, additives, etc. of the polymer, and in the case of additives, gelation is promoted by increasing the salting out effect in the solution. As such, methyl cellulose can undergo sol-gel transition depending on the temperature, so it is highly applicable as a mask pack. Since the gelation temperature of methyl cellulose is around body temperature, gelation occurs when applied as a mask pack to the human body under the appropriate composition of tannic acid and metal ions. . Accordingly, in the present invention, a gelation temperature similar to that of the human body was obtained by appropriately adjusting the concentrations of tannic acid and metal ions. When the prepared temperature-sensitive methylcellulose hydrogel is irradiated with near-infrared rays, the hydrogel absorbs light and exhibits an exothermic effect. Therefore, the prepared hydrogel can have both temperature sensitive properties and photothermal properties at the same time, and when applied as a mask pack, the efficacy of the LED mask can be maximized.
In step 3), the aqueous solution of tannic acid and the aqueous solution of metal ions are preferably mixed at a volume ratio of 1:1.
In addition, the concentration of the methylcellulose aqueous solution is preferably 5 to 10 wt%. When the concentration of methylcellulose is in the above range, the gelation temperature decreases to around body temperature, and when the solution is applied to the skin, a gel is formed by the skin temperature to serve as a mask pack.
In addition, the degree of substitution of the methylcellulose is 1.6 to 1.7, and the viscosity is preferably 15 to 30 cp.
In step 6), stirring may be performed at room temperature for 18 hours to 48 hours, but is not limited thereto.
The mask pack according to the present invention has temperature sensitivity and photothermal effect.
In addition, the mask pack of the present invention may absorb light of a wavelength in the near infrared region, but is not limited thereto. Infrared rays, which account for 52% of sunlight, are divided into near-infrared rays (IR-A, 760-1440 nm), mid-infrared rays (IR-B, 1440-3000 nm), and far-infrared rays (IR-C, 3000 nm-1 mm) according to wavelength. , Among them, it is known that when an appropriate amount of near-infrared rays is irradiated to the skin, it can penetrate into the subcutaneous fat layer of the skin to suppress wrinkles, and to effectively penetrate the skin with functional ingredients to have a beneficial effect on the skin.
In addition, the mask pack may further contain skin beauty ingredients, and the skin beauty ingredients may be ingredients having effects such as moisturizing, wrinkle improvement, whitening, slimming, and elasticity improvement of the skin. For example, the skin care ingredients include adenosine, retinol, retinyl palmitate, oleanolic acid, ubiquinone, tocopheryl acetate, resorcinol, rutin, epigallocatechin, epigallocatechin gallate, arbutin, and ethyl. ascorbyl ether, ascorbyl glucoside, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, niacinamide, alpha-bisabolol, ascorbyl terisopalmitate, or resveratrol, but is not limited thereto.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail through examples. However, the following examples are merely illustrative of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited by the following examples.
제조예manufacturing example 1. MC/ 1.MC/ TATA /Fe 용액 제조/Fe solution preparation
First, tannic acid (TA) and iron ions (Fe 3+ ) were dissolved in deionized water, respectively, and then each solution was mixed in an equal volume (1:1). The mixed solution was adjusted to pH 7.4 using sodium hydroxide (NaOH) to obtain a neutral TA/Fe 3+ solution. After adding 8 wt% of methylcellulose (substitution degree 1.6-1.7, viscosity 15-30 cp) to the neutral TA/Fe 3+ solution , the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 24 hours to prepare an MC/TA/Fe solution.
Table 1 below shows the component content for each sample.
Characteristic analysis according to pH of /Fe solution
In order to determine the optimization conditions, the UV absorption wavelength according to the pH of the MC/TA 4 /Fe 2 solution was analyzed. The form of the coordination bond between tannic acid and iron ions changes according to pH. Figure 1 shows that the absorbed UV peak varies depending on the structure of the mono, bis, and tri complex, and the color of the solution changes according to the form of the coordination bond. can be observed from Often, in acidic conditions, the coordination bonds form a mono complex, and the solution is almost transparent, and in weakly acidic conditions, it forms a bis complex, resulting in a blue solution. In neutral and alkaline conditions, it can be observed that the color gradually changes to reddish brown because a tri complex is formed. As shown in FIG. 1, it can be seen that the absorption wavelength decreases as the pH increases. Since the tricomplex exhibits an absorption peak at 503 nm, the pH was set to 7.4 to form more tricomplex.
실시예Example 2. MC/ 2.MC/ TATA /Fe 용액의 /Fe solution 겔화gelation 거동 평가 Behavioral evaluation
The gelation behavior of MC, MC/TA and MC/TA/Fe solutions was evaluated. 2 shows the gelation temperature for each sample, and it can be seen that the gelation temperature decreases as the concentration of tannic acid increases. Tannic acid is a hydrophilic substance and has a negative charge, which accelerates the hydrophobic interaction between methyl cellulose (MC) and lowers the gelation temperature. That is, it can be seen that tannic acid exhibits a salting-out effect.
On the other hand, as the concentration of iron ions increases, the gelation temperature tends to increase. This is because iron ions (Fe 3+ ) exhibit a salting-in effect opposite to tannic acid. As the amount of iron ion increases, the hydrophobic interaction between methylcelluloses decreases and the gelation temperature tends to increase. However, when tannic acid and iron ions form a coordinate bond between each other to form a gel, a strong hydrogel is formed.
Taken together, gelation should occur at human body temperature by appropriately adjusting the concentrations of tannic acid and iron ions. It can be seen that it is available.
Photothermal effect analysis of /Fe solution
When using an LED mask, the photothermal effect was analyzed through the skin temperature change of the MC/TA/Fe solution according to the amount of tannic acid and iron ions added, and this is shown in FIG. 3. As the LED mask, an LG Prael derma mask was used, and the wavelength was 600-700 nm for red light, 800-900 nm for IR light, and the light intensity was 25 mW/cm 2 .
As shown in FIG. 3(a), each sample was applied to the forehead and light was irradiated by wearing an LED mask emitting infrared and near infrared rays. In the case of methyl cellulose (MC), it can be seen that gelation does not occur as seen by flowing down even after 15 minutes have passed. On the other hand, in the case of MC/TA/Fe, it can be confirmed that gelation occurred when irradiated with light for the same period of time. gel) because it represents the transition.
Figure 3 (b) is the observation of the temperature increase with time in each sample, when only MC was used, the skin temperature increased by approximately 1 ℃. On the other hand, MC/TA/Fe mixed with tannic acid and iron ions increased by 2℃ at the lowest concentration condition, MC/TA 1 /Fe 0.5 , and increased by 5℃ at the highest concentration condition, MC/TA 4 /Fe 2 . confirmed an increase. That is, it can be seen that the addition of tannic acid and iron ions is effective in generating slight fever in the skin.
FIG. 3(c) shows a picture taken by a thermal imaging camera. The blue area indicates a low temperature area, and the color changes from yellow to red as the temperature increases. It can be seen that the temperature of each sample increases as the exposure time increases, and it can be confirmed that the temperature increases as the concentration of MC/TA/Fe to which tannic acid and iron ions are added increases.
