Abstract
Description
まず、図1Aに示すように、積層金属箔1の溶接部位Aに、カッターCを、積層方向Sに沿って貫通させる。図1Bは縦断面形状が略V字状のカッターCを示す。刃先角度αが10°以上であり、好ましくは、15°以上である。刃長βは3mm以上であり、好ましくは5mm以上である。
第2の工程は、図4に示すように、抵抗溶接機(図示省略)の溶接電極E、Eにより、切り目3を中心とする溶接部位Aにおいて、積層金属箔1をサンドイッチ状に押圧して圧接させたうえで、電極Eを介して溶接部位Aに通電して、積層金属箔1の抵抗溶接を行なう。この抵抗溶接時に、例えば電極端子4を積層金属箔1に積層させながら通電して、積層金属箔1と電極端子4を溶接する。図5のように、この抵抗発熱により、切り目3にナゲット(合金層)5が形成され、積層金属箔1および電極端子4が溶融接合される。図4のように、電流は、積層方向S(Z方向)に、上記導通部Rを流れる。

Claims (3)
- 積層した金属箔の溶接部位に、縦断面形状が略V字状のカッターによって、積層方向に沿って貫通する平面視で線状の切り目を入れて、前記金属箔同士を前記線状の切り目端部で積層方向に密着させる第1の工程と、
前記溶接部位に溶接電極を圧接させたうえで当該溶接電極を介して前記溶接部位に通電して積層金属箔を抵抗溶接する第2の工程とを備え、さらに、
前記第1の工程と第2の工程の間に、前記第1の工程で形成された前記切り目および切り目周囲の盛上がり部を押し潰して凹部を形成し、前記切り目および盛上がり部を積層方向に圧縮させるフォーミング工程、
を含む、積層金属箔の製造方法。 - 請求項1において、
前記第2の工程では、前記フォーミング工程で前記切り目が積層方向に圧縮された状態で、前記積層金属箔の溶接部位に電極端子をさらに積層した状態で前記電極端子に前記溶接電極を圧接させ、この状態で前記溶接電極を介して前記溶接部位と前記電極端子とに通電して、前記線状の切り目に沿って前記電極端子の長手方向に延びる楕円形状のナゲットが形成されるように、前記積層した金属箔と前記電極端子とを抵抗溶接する、積層金属箔の製造方法。 - 請求項1または2において、
前記フォーミング工程において凹部を形成する加圧体の加圧面積は、第2の工程における前記抵抗電極の先端面積よりも大きく設定されている、積層金属箔の製造方法。
