Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an automatic stabilizing system which can always maintain a comfortable condition of a seat, by detecting the inertia force of the seat occupant during running of a vehicle, then controlling the movement of the seat in response to the movement of the seat occupant.
CONSTITUTION: The inertia force applied to the seat of running vehicle is detected by an inertia sensor 4 consisting of an acceleration sensor 6, a vehicle speed sensor 5 and revolution sensor 9, then this detected signal is arithmetically processed in comparison with the value preset for keeping stability of the seat 1 by means of an arithmetic unit 3 consisting of an amplifier 10, a filter 11, an analog to digital converter 12, an input interface 13, a microcomputer 14 and a circuit protective device 15. The output from the arithmetic unit 3 is supplied to a driving mechanism 2 consisting of an output interface 16, a motor driving circuit 19, a relay circuit 17 and a motor 18, so as to give the seat 1 longitudinal tilting or lateral rolling.
