Abstract

PURPOSE:To approximate the results of multiphotometric treatment to a correct exposure value through proper correction by correcting multiphotometric outputs by the correction values meeting the signals and the like corresponding to the aperture value to be controlled from an exposure operating circuit. CONSTITUTION:The aperture control signal corresponding to the aperture value to be controlled from an exposure operating circuit 3, the full aperture diameter information from an information setting part 5, and the signal corresponding to the characteristics occuring in a lens optical system are inputted to a correction value calculating circuit 8. Based on these sets of input information, the circuit 8 calculates the correction value for each of the areas of the multiphotometry and the respective multiphotometric outputs are corrected by the respective adders 711... of a correction operation circuit 7. Hence, the multiphotometric errors are lessened by the proper correction meeting lens characteristics and aperture values and the detection and correction of the case in which the aperture is controlled to full aperture accomplished dispite stopping down of the aperture down to a minimum aperture in a shutter priority or program mode. As a result, the results of the multiphotometric processing are approximated more to a correct exposure value.
