Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of both thermal stress and shiftig of the spool for the subject rotor by a method wherein, when the spool on which superconductive field coil has been wound is fixed in a groove using a wedge, a teflon sheet is interposed between the spool and the wedge, excluding the center part of the linear section of the coil. CONSTITUTION:A race track-formed superconductive field coil 3 is wound around the spool 16, and the spool is placed in the groove of the coil mounting shaft 2. Thenm the teflon sheet 20 is arranged on the spool 16 excluding the center part A of the linear section in longitudinal direction of the coil, and the wedge 19 to be used for fixing the spool is inserted in the sheet. Accordingly, the frictional force between the spool 16 and the wedge 19 is reduced, the generation of thermal stress is prevented, and the shifting in longitudinal direction of the spool 16 can also be prevented.
